Caravans face carnage in Skegness

The folks at Top Gear will be pleased – Skegness Stadium is to host a caravan destruction derby this weekend (4 November) as part of a motoring event to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night.

The Bangers & Caravans Destruction Derby is billed as the stadium’s end of season party and will feature fireworks and clapped-out cars being crashed as well as eight tourers and their cars fighting it out on a collision course.

All events at the stadium are in support of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, with free entry to the caravan carnage for under-12s.

To make a night of it, see our sites in and around Skegness , including the adults-only Cottage-Waters less than four miles away from Skegness Stadium. The site has its own private fishing lake, with grass tent pitches available on Sunday from £12 per night.
