A aimé We loved the layout of the site and that all that all pitches were serviced. The little hedges between each pitch gave a feeling of privacy. The landscaping around the site was very well done. Also a very clean site, with good shower & toilet facilities. Although we didn't get to use it, but great to see an onsite pub/ restaurant. Will definitely recommend to friends.

N'a pas aimé Not much to say really , but maybe there could have been more information in the little shed about nearby attractions to visit.

A aimé Conveniently located in Loire with very large pitchs overlooking a lake. Boulanger within walking distance of the site. Mobile food van one night although not many options for vegetarians

N'a pas aimé Lake was very brown water, not very appealing for swimming. Toilets weren’t cleaned / toilet paper replaced in our 8 day stay. Receptionist not very friendly or helpful

A aimé Small site conveniently located for Le Shuttle with a restaurant overlooking a lake within walking distance.

N'a pas aimé Some narrow approach roads when towing a caravan, could do with better info on what to take and avoid

A aimé Great little site with very spacious pitches. Location is good only 15 min to Bayeux (small town), which is lovely. There is nothing near the campsite so is very remote, but very quiet. Our host was great and very helpful. We don’t speak much French and he didn’t speak much English - thank god for google translate. Toilets and showers were very rustic but functional. Host was very good cleaning these facilities every night.

N'a pas aimé Filling up with drinking water is tedious as had to hold button in for flow but unable to put container close enough under tap.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hello and thank you for your message. Regarding the water filling, you should have simply asked me. I would have explained that on the motorhome's water filling point, there's a hose and a large water flow. This allows for several quick fill-ups. I sincerely hope this won't be a problem for your return. And I look forward to welcoming you again. Sincerely, Michel.

A aimé Lovely large pitches, ours was fully serviced, with great views of the mountains. We enjoyed seeing the sheep wandering round the site. A great little shop selling the essentials as well as delicious home made cakes.

N'a pas aimé Although it says that there are pubs nearby in walking distance, it would have been helpful to know directions to get there.
