A aimé Simone was very nice and welcoming when I arrived, especially as it was late in the evening and I'd had a long day. Staying on a farmyard was interesting too.

A aimé The hospitality of the staff was lovely and the views of the surrounding landscape from the top of the hill in the campsite were great.

N'a pas aimé The showers were very cramped and the campsite itself is not easy to find.

A aimé I loved the location because it was right on the bank of the river and is within walking distance of the town and driving distance of many outdoor activities. The pool and evening music were also nice experiences, and so was the mixture of worldwide themes in different parts of the campsite.

N'a pas aimé The toilets and showers weren't very good as they were quite cramped.

A aimé I liked the terrain of the campsite as the views from the campsite were quite good.

N'a pas aimé The road to Salses-le-Chateau wasn't very direct and was on rough tracks, so walking into the town wasn't ideal.

Regarding the access to Salses-le-Château, it is true that the most direct path can be a bit rough. We usually recommend going via the Omya factory, which avoids the town center where some streets are too narrow for larger vehicles and where roadworks are often taking place. A aimé The bathroom facilities are very good. It was also an ideal location for me as I was passing through on my way to Andorra the following day.
