We are sorry that your one-night stay did not meet your expectations, but we would like to correct several misleading impressions in your review. We almost never answer reviews, but I particularly remember you and I think your review isn't very unreasonable.

First, regarding your arrival: our reception is open from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. These hours are communicated to guests several times before arrival. We are a small, family-run campsite, and we close for an afternoon break. This is not hidden information; it is clearly stated in the reservation details.

According to our records, you were placed on your pitch no later than 16:29. Check-in begins at 16:00, so you were settled within 29 minutes of reception opening, and we know you weren't waiting from 16:00. We do not consider this an unreasonable wait, particularly when the check-in hours were communicated in advance.

Regarding information about the area, the maps and brochures are available behind the reception counter, where you can see them upon arrival. You are welcome to ask for as many as you need. We do not leave them outside because, unfortunately, they end up scattered around the campsite.

In addition, every guest receives an email with our e-book and information about an app you can download, offering a huge number of ideas for activities, places to visit and things to do in the Soča Valley. We have put considerable effort into making this information available before and during your stay. It does, however, require guests to open and read the information we send.

At check-in, we also explain that if you need anything, you are welcome to come to reception and ask. We are happy to help with recommendations, directions, activities or any other questions. Our other reviews reflect this very clearly. Our maintenance team and cleaning staff are also present around the campsite and are more than willing to assist.

As for a campsite map, Camp Vodenca is a small campsite that you can walk across in approximately five minutes. We do not have a separate map of the campsite, and we have never found one necessary for a place of this size. If you are unsure where the toilets, showers or any other facilities are, simply ask us. We will gladly show you.

We understand that every guest has different expectations, but we cannot agree with the suggestion that information or assistance was unavailable. It was available in person, by email and through our digital guide. We cannot force guests to read the information provided or ask questions, but we do make every effort to ensure that they have everything they need.

We are a serious business, and we take our guests' experience seriously. At the same time, we believe that fair reviews should reflect what actually happened and the information that was made available.

A aimé Sehr tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Berge. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten überdacht zu sitzen und auch die Wäscheleinen sind überdacht.

A aimé Fijne camping. We waren met de tent voor 9 dagen. Bovenaan sta je dan het mooiste, dat kun je aanvragen. De mensen zijn vriendelijk van de camping. Bij Marven Point, de camping eronder, kun je lekker koffie en eten halen. ( drinken kan ook bij camp Vodenca, bij de receptie). Je hebt een mooie route voor te wandelen, die langs de camping komt. Ze maken regelmatig schoon bij de wc’s en douches. Je kunt via de receptie verschillende activiteiten regelen: zoals zipline, kajakken enz. Boven aan bij de camping had je heel mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Je zit 30 min lopen van het centrum van Bovec.

N'a pas aimé Too crammed. One fridge for the whole camp. Even though there was hail storm warning and heavy rains we had to pay all the days we booked much earlier. VERY unfriendly policy!

A aimé Piazzole ombreggiate, cucina attrezzata e bagni sempre puliti. Bar presente, personale gentile. Ha un accesso diretto al fiume. Vicino a centro commerciale e supermercato

A aimé Very nice staff, we booked the wrong dates and they did their best to host us despite the camping was full.
Camping very clean, with a nice view but on the upper part only.

A aimé Had a really good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and clearly worked hard at keeping the place nice. It was always clean. There were lots of useful things, like sockets and a fridge. They helped book excursions, we did the rafting which was a lot of fun. There were cats, we're cat people. Not too far from the river or from town. There were other campsites close by whose bars were open later.

N'a pas aimé The way to the river could be clearer. There was, what i thought, an obvious area to park your car, but people parked right in front of the grass, so that the view from most tents was a car. Because there was no assigned area to pitch people went anywhere, this is fine, unless you get a couple who cant be bothered to look and so just pitch up less than 1m directly in front of your tent and then park there car right next to the tent. Not the campsites fault but the only ppace this has ever happened to us.
