Camping Le Lanfonnet

A aimé Great location by the lake. Lovely friendly welcome from the two young ladies on reception. Lots of information given so we knew exactly where everything was. They still have an issue with hot water at one of the shower blocks - we were told this on arrival and to be honest the shower was refreshing in the really hot weather! So not an issue to be honest. Can choose your own pitch - good mix of sunny and shaded pitches - and a variety of sizes to suit all. On reading the recent reviews, would maybe have been put off if we hadn’t already booked and paid, but definitely glad we came - don’t believe everything you read - although I guess it’s all subjective and it looks like they have definitely addressed the majority of issues mentioned.

N'a pas aimé The only feedback would be that we saw quite a lot of people coming in from the lakeside to use the toilet and shower block that weren’t camping here - so maybe an idea to fit a coded entry on the door to The block near the lake?

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the water supply during your stay. The problem has since been resolved and all showers are now working with hot water. We are conducting regular checks on our facilities and on the grounds, particularly the area reserved for our guests.

We would have appreciated your feedback at reception. We have already raised several issues with the local council on numerous occasions, but no action has been taken to date.

N'a pas aimé Dusty pitch. Lack of hot showers (only one for all of this large site). Some outdated facilities. On site shop closed till July. Noisy from local bar and noisy campers till late but this was beyond their control.

We sincerely apologize for the unexpected and exceptional water outage during your stay. All our showers now have hot water following recent repairs. One of our shower blocks was damaged in the autumn, and repairs were difficult.

There is a grocery store in Talloires, 800 meters away, with a bakery open in June, and Menthon, 1.8 km away, offers all necessary services.
We should have already provided you with this information, or we remain available to answer any questions you may have.

Our grocery store opens in July. Opposite the campsite, there is a bar/restaurant with occasional live music.

We regret that your experience was not satisfactory, but perhaps the location wasn't quite right for you. Our facilities are simple and reflect the true spirit of camping.

N'a pas aimé Er was 1 douche waar warm water uit kwam maar je moets dan wel de kraan van de douche ernaast aanzetten . Je moest goed zoeken naar werkende stroompunten want de helft deed het niet . En het raarste was dat je verplicht je ID of paspoort moest in leveren

Wat het warme water betreft: door een technisch incident buiten onze wil om moest tijdelijk een noodoplossing worden ingevoerd. Om het ongemak zoveel mogelijk te beperken, hebben wij een tweede sanitairgebouw geopend. Inmiddels is de situatie volledig hersteld. Wij betreuren dit tijdelijke ongemak.

Wat de elektriciteitsaansluitingen betreft: onze installaties zijn vóór de start van het seizoen gecontroleerd en er zijn geen defecten vastgesteld. Wij wijzen erop dat het gebruik van niet-conforme apparatuur of aansluitingen kan leiden tot een tijdelijke veiligheidsuitschakeling van het elektriciteitsnet.

Tot slot is het tonen van een identiteitskaart of paspoort een gebruikelijke procedure die in overeenstemming is met de geldende regelgeving voor toeristische accommodaties. Dit stelt ons in staat de identiteit van onze gasten te verifiëren en te voldoen aan onze administratieve en veiligheidsverplichtingen.

Wij blijven graag tot uw beschikking en hopen u in de toekomst opnieuw onder betere omstandigheden te mogen verwelkomen.

A aimé The site is well located at the Lake edge. Brilliant for use of round lake cycle path and water sports. Pitch size is very good and the mature trees give great shade in the middle of the day. - this is definitely a positive against other sites nearby

The site has a small restaurant and bar that is popular with the residents.

Facilities are clean but very basic

On site staff are very supportive

The Eastern edge of the little (southern) lake doesn’t have lots of evening options, this may have because our visit was in June.

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, the season starts in June and the final preparations are underway.
There is a bar/restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, sometimes with a lively atmosphere. Pizza is available to eat in or take away.
Nearby, along the lake, you will also find restaurants/cafés.
In June, you can buy bread and a small grocery store 800 meters away, or even 2 km away in Menthon-Saint-Bernard. Various activities are available at the bottom of the lake.

We regret the temporary interruption of hot water in our building due to an exceptional breakdown. Everything is back to normal and the repairs have been carried out.
Regarding the electricity, the system automatically shuts down as a safety precaution when unsuitable equipment or connections are used.
We had to issue reminders in the interest of our guests.

Our campsite aims to be simple and natural, respecting the true spirit of camping.

N'a pas aimé No hot showers 2/6/26 they had no hot showers from 2025 , restaurants opposite she said for breakfast the only thing offered scrambled eggs and run by French basil faulty
No elec last night due to storm
Can’t order fresh bread for the morning

We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. During your stay, an exceptional storm caused temporary disruptions, including a power outage beyond our control. A safety protocol was activated and power could not be restored immediately.

Regarding breakfast, the restaurant opposite the campsite is an independent establishment offering a standard breakfast as well as an option with eggs. There may have been a misunderstanding regarding your request.

Finally, we do not offer a bread ordering service in June. However, a bakery is located approximately 500 meters from the campsite, in the center of Talloires.

Het spijt ons dat uw eerste indruk zo negatief was. Tijdens uw verblijf hadden we inderdaad te maken met een uitzonderlijk probleem met de watervoorziening, waar wij geen invloed op hadden. Deze ongebruikelijke situatie heeft helaas de ontvangst en het comfort van onze gasten beïnvloed.

We begrijpen uw beslissing en betreuren het dat we u niet onder onze gebruikelijke voorwaarden hebben kunnen verwelkomen. Het probleem is inmiddels opgelost en we hopen u in de toekomst een beter beeld van onze camping te kunnen geven.

The shop on the campsite was closed and does not open until next month - if the campsite is open for customers, surely the shop should be?

Lovely peaceful site ( once bank holiday revellers had left…) with lots of beautiful nature trees for shade
