Le Hameau du Puy

The Hautes-Alpes ski resort of SuperDévoluy is connected in winter by tracks to the Joue du Loup, forming the Dévoluy ski area. The region has 2,000 hectares of snow and 100 kilometres of descents including 37 kilometres of artificial snow. A further 35 kilometres of cross-country ski trails for skating and alternative skiing are on the Nordic side. Ski buses take skiers around the stations and a bus service Marseille Provence airport and Aix TGV station runs to the area every Saturday in winter. For winter walks, take the Taisson route developed by the resort, a virtual GPS assistant with audio, films and photos covering two circuits. The device is available to borrow at the tourist office and in the ski chalets. Alps 'capital' Grenoble is an hour and three quarters away via the A51, or two hours by the Route de Grenoble.
