N'a pas aimé: Lack of signage for reception. It is through the iron gate to the right of the cafe. Then into the white 'conservatory' on the right. No means to indicate your presence at the desk apart from shouting.

Men's shower drain part blocked and flooding toilets. Fixed when reception opened ext morning.

Check the shower hooks for solidity. Apparently they are regularly stolen!?!?;? Minehead screw missing and tipped .t-shirt into the water on the floor

A aimé : Beautiful scenery. Lovely walks ideal for dogs. Facilities excellent and friendly staff. Lovely cafe with tasty food. Will definately go again and highly recommend.

A aimé : Great facilities in and around the park with a cafe very close, lovely walking straight from site.

A aimé : Loved every minute, can choose your own pitch, excellent facilities, loved the park and the walks. Will definitely be back.

A aimé : Lovely location, nice walks and scenery. Good walk into Aberdare without needing to go on the road. Shower and toilets are spacious and clean. Cafe on the park next to campsite, good for children nice play park.

N'a pas aimé: Could do with some hangers by sinks to hang towel when shaving. (Minor issue)

N'a pas aimé: The guy on reception was a bit un helpful didnt explain anything about how to get into the field which it was the entrance just said go puck a pitch and get wet with the rest of them uo there!!!!??
Not very welcoming.
Basic field drive in up hill very busy so not good with the caravan on.
Short drive into Aberdare itself which was nice but alot of barber shops in town and eateries mostly.
Would not return.

A aimé : Can't fault a single thing! Will stay again for sure. There was a nice little mountain bike park behind the caravan site up the hill as well as (next to a handy local gym) a really good pump track across the road that was being used by kids, teens and adults alike, and for those who have nippers, there's an equestrian centre a minutes' walk down the drive that does horse rides for kids. The staff were fantastic, friendly and super helpful, plus there was a new washer & tumble dryer that only cost a fiver to use and the dryer was one of the best I've used, perfect for doing a weeks' worth of clothes in one go. Good price also.

It was at the top of the town up the hill and down a very long driveway, kind of out on a bit of a limb, so it was nice & peaceful in the sticks slightly, but still within a few minutes' drive of the shops.

I stayed because I wanted to use Bike Park Wales and rarely look at caravan sites from a family-oriented, "stay at the campsite and do family stuff" POV, so I don't really know how to rate the activities and / or facilities and I didn't check to see if there was WiFi. Although there were plenty of families there and all of them seemed pretty happy. I guess you'd take your own toys to a caravan site rather than expect there to be a badminton court in place!?

A aimé : Ease of booking. Lovely location. Helpfull Park warden. Beautiful scenery. All year round site. Good location for Brecon Beacons

N'a pas aimé: Not sure who to blame but tried booking through weekend but was told by you no room. Asked when we arrived and was told yes we could stay. Great. Due to longer stay we were surprised there was over 10 pitches not occupied at the weekend. This was annoying as we were travelling over 200 miles and would have liked to have been there longer from the start. Please sort this out for possible future trips.
