A aimé : Owners had thought of everything, washer/dryer, microwave, hair dryer. Lovely toilets and lovely powerful shower near the main house. Cars to be parked on the car park rather than on the site.
N'a pas aimé: Wish they had children’s park/play area.

Just some feedback on not having a children play area, which we have been advised by our insurance company that it would add risk to the policy and we should not have one. A aimé : Everythink loved friendly owners/staff, facilities and location. Quiet peaceful place where you can relax and enjoy the lovely walks. Lovely people staying too and nothing was too much trouble everything you need was there. Will defo return

A aimé : Everything to be honest. We would highly recommend this site and we will be back again. Very peaceful. Really beautifully kept pitches, the facilities were good and kept clean! Also helped that the sun was shining all weekend so it was blissful. Saw the owner several times and she was really friendly. We were able to use a fire pit in the evening too which was lovely as the weather was so dry.

A aimé : Location is the perfect launch pad for visiting Chester, Wrexham and many other popular places. It’s set in beautiful countryside with lots of walks and a number of good pubs and restaurants. The owners know how to look after you. Very friendly, small site with a community feel. Good balance of tent campers and vans meant the 2 toilets and 2 showers was never overly busy. Really clean, lovely site. We have camped all over the uk and France and found this site to be up there with the best we have stopped at. Will definitely be back.

A aimé : Clean tidy site, level pitches, the facilities were spot on. I come with a load of wet washing knowing that this could be dried in the dryer! We stayed in the first field, next to Picasso’s paddock & my daughter LOVED it when he wanted to have a fuss made of him. The road ways were made of stone/gravel, so the children could hear the cars coming from a distance and move out of the way. We stayed over the bank holiday so it was lively but we didn’t mind that. The owners Pam & Richard, were really lovely, made you feel welcome and happy to give recommendations on the local area (The Boat @ Erbistock is definitely worth a trip!) Will definitely be coming back again. Thanks for a fantastic time.
N'a pas aimé: The drinking water, but we got some bottled in so that wasn’t too much of a bother.

A aimé : Very clean Facilities. Toilet and shower block very clean. Sites kept very tidy hosts very friendly. We will be back again soon.
N'a pas aimé: Could do with another toilet an shower cubical as ques did start to form. Cars werent meant to be passed a certain point (only for unloading an loading back up) but few cars were parked by tents an caravans so were in an out throughout the day.

Bank Holidays are usually busier than other weekends, but we do have two separate shower/toilet units. There is always plenty of hot water and the facilities are cleaned frequently. We prefer that guests don’t drive their cars around the main site, but we do make exceptions for people with disabilities, who prefer to have their car close to their pitch.
