A aimé Site convenient, close to beach and center or Tywyn. Facilities fantastic with toilet block and showers, mostly clean but after a busy, hot weekend, was in need of a small tidy up but everything you needed was on site. The pitches were well kept and extremely spacious and Flat! Great scenic views.

N'a pas aimé Arrived, as a party of 4 (3 Separate bookings) within booking time, owner wasn't present. Tried to call several times to arrange a pitch and payment for our stay after several hours ride. No answer. Decided to find a pitch ourselves for the night. When owner came to collect remaining payment due around 8am, didn't believe we had booked, wouldn't listen to my partner who advised we'd booked via PitchUp and was quite rude, demanded payment for the full party in one payment which was inconvenient for us, but did so anyway. The only negative of the whole trip. Besides the screaming (singing) drunk girls at 2am, but ear plugs sorted them out.

A aimé This was our first ever camping trip. The site was absolutely lovely, very clean and tidy. Really lovely views and surroundings. Short walk to the beach.

A aimé Spacious campsite always clean and tidy close to shops and walk to beach inside 20 minutes . Easy check in with friendly owner who made a us aware of race the train event and road closures which was nice to know and didn’t affect our trip

N'a pas aimé No dog walking area and some idiot arguing at 2 am and someone let off a couple of fireworks which terrified the dogs

A aimé Flat pitch with nice views. Clean toilets and showers but too far away from tent field

N'a pas aimé The fact they knew large groups were coming to camp ahead of the "race the train" event at the steam railway. They were playing loud music and singing loudly until well after midnight. Spoke to the owner of the site when we arrived and she admitted this happens every year. She should not be hiring the site out to the general public and charging us good money knowing this is happening. Others staying here said the same as us this morning.

A aimé Second time I've stayed here. It's a very nice, clean and quiet campsite. Lots of space. Really nice staff there. Clean toilets and showers. Just out of the town so close to shops and public transport. For hikers like me its easy to get to Cader, Dolgoch, Panorama, Bird Rock from Tywyn for days out and a have a nice basecamp to return to for a hot shower.

A aimé Nice toilet /shower blocks, and washing up facilities. Lots of space to pitch a tent, close to the beach.

A aimé Lovely park , it was very busy as race the train was on , but a great base to get to other places . Good value for money .

N'a pas aimé Cool showers due to busy weekend on site . And the water for washing plates was the same ,We were disappointed that you couldn’t have bbq or a fire but respected the wishes of the owner , but the beach was close enough to have one there .
