A aimé Lovely owners who were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. As for the site, pitches were clear and flat and facilities were very clean. We spent two gloriously sunny days of peace and quiet mixed with a bit of culture at Powis Castle. About the only noise at night was the hooting of tawny owls. Wonderful. Thank you Trinio Camping

A aimé Such a lovely campsite , the hosts Malcom and Linda are lovely , site was very clean , very well run and very friendly , would recommend to say , views are so beautiful and if you want peace and quiet this is the place to stay

A aimé Lovely campsite, quiet grassy pitches that weren’t overcrowded. Straightforward route to get there, no small backroads or tight turns. Facilities were great, toilets and showers clean and well maintained. Great location for walking straight out of the site or a short drive to nearby hikes. Great pub nearby serving lovely Indian food. All in all an amazing spot!

A aimé Lovely site. Clean facilities, well maintained pitches. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good dog walking very close to the site on Offa’s Dyke Path and a pub in the village. We had a lovely stay

A aimé Love this campsite, this is our second time staying here for the bank holiday weekend 2 years going. So much space for the kids to play right outside the tents. Lovely clean facilities and the owners are a really kind and friendly couple. Great views from everywhere you look, fantastic walks near the campsite, and most importantly a pub just a 15 minute walk away. Will definitely be returning again next year.

Really good/flat pitches. Well maintained.
Booked and arrived same day so was very last minute on a bank holiday weekend!
Excellent local pub which is an Indian (not pub food aswell which I thought it was) but was a fantastic meal - would highly recommend. Dog friendly too which was a bonus for us.

N'a pas aimé No hot water in the little wooden hut toilet but wasn't too much of an issue. Main toilet block was fine but only two toilets and one shower. Luckily wasn't too busy during our stay but would imagine it being awkward when it's peak season.
Tents were a little bit close together but had nice neighbours so thankfully wasn't a problem.
Have to drive to shops/supermarket but not the sites fault.

A aimé Large pitch, clean toilets and showers. Walks straight from the sight. Town 5min drive for general shops. Lovely pub 10min walk from the site.

A aimé really liked how well-maintained the grass electric hook-up pitch was. It was spacious enough to set up comfortably and the ground was in good condition, which made a big difference over the two-night stay. Having access to the electric hook-up was very convenient and worked reliably throughout.

The campsite itself was clean, tidy, and had a calm, relaxed atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind. The facilities were well looked after and easy to access, and everything felt organised and welcoming. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay, which is exactly what I was looking for.

A aimé Lovely family-run site. Signage is clear, making it easy to find the site and wait in the correct area to be checked in. Louise was friendly & helpful and made the whole process of arriving completely stress-free. She's also available by phone or text if you have any queries during your stay. I think we also met her partner at various times during our stay, he was also extremely friendly and approachable.

The site itself is well placed, with lots of countryside walks available nearby. There's also a lovely small pub (which also has an Indian restaurant in the evening, which we're told is excellent) and large a Spar shop/petrol station down the road - all easily reachable on foot.

Pitches are well sized, fairly flat and the EHU was at the rear of our pitch, easily reached by our cable. The facilities are clean, modern and didn't appear to be oversubscribed during our weekend - even though I'd say 80% of the pitches were occupied during the Bank Holiday. The site is also quiet, even the large group of young adults went silent once everyone else had gone to bed. Dogs on leads/tethers are welcome, and most people stick to the rules - only one family let theirs roam free during our visit, but thankfully it didn't come over to our nervous little dog. Kids also seem to enjoy their time, with plenty of space for ball games and other activities.

BBQs & fire pits are allowed, and they also have a good stack of bricks for you to raise your fires/BBQs off the ground to protect the grass.

We'd highly recommend Trinio if you'd like somewhere in the countryside surrounded by nature. My wife was particularly fond of the lambs being raised in the field next to the campsite!

This was our second ever trip in our campervan and we had a wonderful time here. Thanks Louise & family!
