Castle Bay Holiday and Residential Park

A aimé : The view from our pitch was amazing, even in the slightly rainy weather! The site as a whole was immaculate and well looked after. The coastal path walk from the site takes you into Portpatrick in about 10/15 mins with more great views along the way. Toilet block is locked by code which is great. Will definitely be back. Dog friendly too!

N'a pas aimé: Would be great if there was maybe a playpark to keep the younger ones occupied.

A aimé : Loved everything about this site, sea front, history all round, 5 minutes walk to the castle, port Patrick 20 minutes walk, dogs loved it, such a peaceful place

A aimé : Location and facilities. Check in was easy. Site was quiet and very clean and tidy.

A aimé : I'd like to start with the positive. The location of the site is incredibly beautiful, the coast path in both directions is an experience, and the proximity to the pretty town of Portpatrick is fantastic. The staff who welcomed us were also super friendly and flexible.

N'a pas aimé: Now for the criticism. The sanitary facilities unfortunately don't live up to the otherwise positive atmosphere. The dishwashing area is a disgrace. This needs to be improved.

A aimé : First off the views over the sea were just phenomenal. When we arrived at reception staff were friendly and helping giving us a map so we knew exactly how to get to the pitches. The plots for tents were spacious and it wasn’t too busy when we were there so everyone was spaced out. Toilet/shower/washing up block was perfectly situated and only a 2 minute walk from our tent pitch. The shower and toilet block was immaculately clean and safe with a shared passcode. No wifi, but isn’t that the point of camping? A beautiful walk along the coastline down into Portpatrick which is ideal with pubs/restaurants and little shops. We will 100% be back at this campsite in the summer (if the sunny weather comes back lol)

A aimé : The location was perfect. There are lovely coastal walks and easy acces to Portpatrick along one of the paths. The site was clean and the amenities were modern and fresh.

A aimé : Fabulous location and a view to die for across to the sea to Ireland and with its own castle. Good and warm toilet/shower block. Access straight onto the coast path including an easy walk into Portpatrick.

A aimé : I love the motorhome pitches as they definitely had the best view. Lovely views of the sea and the costal walk was close by my pitch. The toilets and showers where very clean and it was good to have a hair dryer supplied

N'a pas aimé: I disliked how far away the toilet block was from the pitches, I felt the toilet block was closer to the hard standing lodges that have toilet showers etc inside them rather than being close to the camping, motorhome and touring pitches that don’t tent to have a toilet inside. It was about a 4 minute walk from me, that doesn’t sound to long but as a solo female traveller it was quite scary during the night as there wasn’t any park lighting either. No WiFi on site and I didn’t find the 4g to good
