A aimé Stayed with family and grandchildren in motorhome pitches- good clean facilities.
Pub was welcoming and great choice of foods/drinks. Staff efficient , polite and very helpful with granddaughters allergies

A aimé Excellent pitch with full services. Toilets and showers absolutely spotless. Friels bar and restaurant very welcoming with excellent food, good beer and pleasant staff

A aimé Our first night in NI and everyone was so friendly and nice at this place. Stayed whilst the open was on so it was busy but there was a great vibe. Facilities were clean and good although didn’t use showers (as didn’t have £1 coins).

N'a pas aimé Food was not the best and a bit overpriced for what it was.

A aimé Pub and restaurant conveniently near. The portable building of 2 showers and 2 toilets was clean but not always enough for the number of vans on the site.

N'a pas aimé Black gravel, lack of grass, noise and disturbance from building works .... This was not a sympathetic or attractive environment. In fact I was sure it was a car park with added diggers and trucks until I saw the water and electricity points. I accept that it may have been in the process of improvement. It was not what I expected and though I booked for 2 nights I left after one.

Disappointed to learn of of your experience via this platform.
You were here on our busiest week of the year with the golf being held nearby and its best to chat to managment if you have any concerns. I have had 10 other reviews from the same week and they were all above 9.
Yes we are getting works done to improve the site and delighted you found our facilities clean in what was a busy site.
I feel your lack of grass coment is poor as we are a motorhome park and dont state anywhere that we provide grass?
However I will take your comments on board and as they say we will learn from this.

A aimé Friendly staff, very clean toilets and showers, excellent food in bar and restaurant, we had two evening meals and a breakfast, all delicious, great atmosphere, live music was great, would recommend and would definitely return

Water & electric at each pitch.
Pub next door is really good; Food & Cocktails excellent. Friendly staff.
Pub is dog friendly as is the site.
Facilities were spotless when we arrived & looked modern/ new.
Level pitches & plenty big enough for all motor home sizes

N'a pas aimé The pub car park spilled into the Motorhome pitches, so got a bit raucous around kicking out time & early evening. This might be due to being an 18th birthday party event on. The pub car park is separate but with no barriers & easy access, was being used..
The Toilets/ showers are unlocked and are accessible to anyone,, unfortunately those using the car park as an overspill also used the facilities when we were there & someone was sick in the only sink blocking it 🤢🤬
There was only one sink so not as if you could use another!
The site does look fairly new & a building under construction at the side so maybe these are temporary facilities; also the access looked like something may be being done, so these likely short term issues.

Yes we are getting work done to improve the facilities at Friels.
Delighted uou enjoyed our spotless facilities, level pitches, food, cocktails and friendly staff.
Unfortunate about the blocked sink but if a member of staff had been told this could have been addressed for everyones benefit. We are are licensed premises and on a very rare occasion these things happen.
I really appreciate your comments and hope to welcome yopu back in the future.

A aimé everything, location, pitches were perfect very well kept and clean and level, showers and toilets spotless. The bar and restaurant was one of the best ever been in fantastic food and drink well priced friendly staff. had a chat to the manager who came by the motorhome great chap appreciated our comments on the facility. defiantly will be back.
