I often stay on the campsite myself and was there the mid-week night you are referring to and I have to say that I thought the traffic was unusually busy. As a traditional coaching inn we are close the the local roads with the benefit that this does give good access to the local attractions. We hope to welcome you back at some point in the future.

A aimé The hard standing pitch was good nice and flat with plenty of room. Pub was also good friendly staff good food and liked the 10% off all your orders.
When we arrived there were afew people there but it was nice and quiet so managed to have a good sleep.

N'a pas aimé Only two toilets to cater for the whole campsite. Apparently there was another toilet block by the pub but didn't see that. Would assume its busy during peak season.

There are indeed two toilet blocks - marked on the Campsite Arrival Pack provided on check-in providing three toilets and four showers on a 24 hour basis. Campers are also invited to use the pub toilets when the pub is open. I hope this provides some clarity and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

A aimé Great site, not too many pitches, all the overnight facilities you need, motorcycle friendly. Great pub, good food and a discount for campers.

I am not sure which toilets you are referring to as our toilets do have lighting - one block is electric and the other a mixture of electric and solar to try and keep the light pollution down. We look forward to seeing you again in the future - and perhaps at our annual Chopper event next year.

We are pleased you found our location, useful - it does allow easy access to the visitor attractions. I am sorry to hear that there were dogs not on leads and that some children were causing a nuisance. The rules are there for the safety and enjoyment of all and campers who we see on our 'staff rounds' or are reported to us for not abiding by the rules may be asked to leave the site and be reported to Pitchup as appropriate. I hope this does provide some clarity and we hope to see you again in the future.

As a traditional coaching inn with a campsite it is situated close to the local roads which can be busy at times but in turn is ideally situated for accessing the local attractions. There are pitches on the campsite that are quieter due to being further away from the road. We look forward to welcoming you back should you decide to stay with us in the future.

N'a pas aimé Lack of security, not enough shower and toilet facilities, no option to choose pitch being told they were full when they were not. Pub opening times for food on Sunday limited and bookings only, finishing at 6pm for food. Despite a fire/ bbq ban one customer had both and didn’t retire to bed until 3am and due to the open space noise carried. Only staff seen on campsite was the cleaner.
