N'a pas aimé: Received an email saying bring your own wood because the owner had misjudged amount needed.. shower block was declared structurally compromised so rudimentary shower only. Utility room had no water for dishes etc , but there was a freezer for ice blocks. Path To the field for camping was up a steep potholed rutted tyre track that petered out onto a field Was not willing to pull my vehicle onto a waterlogged field. Did not even get as far as the composting toilet. Nothing for miles around ... stayed one hour out of a proposed 5 day stay. There are no motor home pitches , just a grass field.

A aimé : Big field with plenty of space for everyone. New amenity block (under construction, May 2024. Owner very helpful. Freezer available. Charmouth Beach Parking £6 for the day for my Campervan & was a fair price compared to the other local beaches & towns that have really heavy restrictions on parking Campervans. Dorset sadly isn't Campervan friendly at all for day parking. I couldn't relax for fear of a Parking fine. Lyme Regis costs £20 per day & I failed to find parking in Weymouth. I feel sorry for the local businesses, frustratingly, I cut my trip short & went home to enjoy my sunny garden.

N'a pas aimé: Not a dislike, as it's a single track road, drive slowly driving to the farm site from the main road. Quite a sloping field, you'll need to find a way to level your Campervan.

A aimé : Brigs Farm is a very peaceful site located within a smallholding, on arrival you can choose your own pitch anywhere next to an existing firepit. The facilities are as basic as they get, which gives it an almost wild camping experience. The showers are nice and hot (but best to take some flip flops to wear in there as the rubber matting on the floor is a little bit uncomfortable), the composting toilets are good and not smelly like I had anticipated, and anti-bac spray is provided for peace of mind. The washing up area is a sink with a water supply, but that is all that you really need. The owner is in the process of building a new shower block with more cubicles. It was lovely to have the freedom of being able to light a fire in the evening. I will look forward to returning soon.

A aimé : Great site, views of the sea. Very quiet

A aimé : Local area great, good cheap wood for only £5.00 from honesty box, excellent facilities for your rubbish and recycling when you leave, place to wash dishes and bio loo. Park car next to pitch and was allowed to use Gazebo thankfully because it rained for an hour over the entire weekend. :-)

N'a pas aimé: Reviews ask for a dislike so this is the only one I could find. A nice attempt at making bio urinals, 1 was working fine but the other was blocked with leaves, a simple fix would be to put a cage or filter to trap leaves and perhaps more regular checks. Nothing else to complain about.

A aimé : Lovely peaceful site. Didn't see the owners but found everything we needed easily. Lovely hot showers. A very eco friendly site with a smashing ethos. Great for stargazing! Off the beaten track.

A aimé : A Very natural site; orchard and countryside views. Nice facilities ( be ready for a composting toilet; I’m used to these though). Great to have the option to have a camp fire by your pitch. Only a ten min drive to charmouth beach.

N'a pas aimé: Didn’t dislike anything but be aware that to reach the site you travel along very narrow country lanes. The entrance to the farm is also quite steep and rough stone. For info: The showers cubicles are on the small side if you are a big person ( showers great though).

A aimé : How relaxed the area was. Lots of space to choose your own pitch, first time using compost toilets went fab

N'a pas aimé: Not much. The road in scrapped us up a little nothing major. Would love a step for the toilet huts (short and disabled)
