A aimé Well maintained and picturesque campsite with lots of character. Great welcome from an attentive owner who put us on a shaded pitch ideal for our two dogs. Peaceful location within walking distance of Hope Cove. Small shop on site and you can order bakery products for the following day. Highly recommended

A aimé Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches. Stunning views & great hiking location. Hope cove is about 1/2 hr walk.
Really liked the staff and the facilities were really clean. Great Saturday night pizzas too!
N'a pas aimé 20p for 1.5 minutes is a little irritating but to be honest it made Me conscious about my water usage so it’s objective worked. I would have preferred a larger cubicle to change into my dry things or more hooks in the showers for clothes as they get wet on the floor.

I’m especially glad you found the staff great and the facilities clean, as those are our main focuses in running the site. We work hard to keep everything well looked after, so it really does mean a lot when guests notice and appreciate it.
Thank you also for your feedback about the showers. The 20p system is in place mainly because our water comes from our own spring rather than a mains supply, so it helps us manage water usage across the site, particularly during busy periods. That said, I completely understand your point about the changing space and hooks. We’ll certainly take that on board, as small practical improvements like extra hooks can make a big difference.

We do understand that the final approach roads can feel narrow if you’re not used to South Devon lanes. Unfortunately, that is part of being in such a beautiful rural coastal location, but we hope the views and setting make the journey worthwhile once you arrive.

Fijne ontvangst, beheerder verstaat zijn vak.
Doet minimaal 1 keer par dag een ronde over het veld en weet wat er speelt.
Sanitair en overige voorzieningen zijn onberispelijk.
Op zaterdag pizza-night, heerlijk !
Leuke wandeling van 20 minuten naar Hope Cove, schattig plaatsje aan de oceaan.

A aimé Great hosts, very quiet rural location spotted two green woodpeckers during our brief stay. Lovely shower block. Lots of space on our pitch. Within striking distance of Hope Cove and South Milton on our electric bikes
