A aimé : Situated right in the centre of the village in walking distance of a lovely pub and near to Godrevy.

N'a pas aimé: I didnt meet the people running the site and it was hard to get hold of them when I arrived. Mobile signal is patchy so calling and texting wasn’t great and there was no answer at the house so it was an unsure start and as a lone traveller I didnt feel reassured.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Sorry you didn't have the best experience with us. It's a shame you felt you needed to give such a poor rating for some things. We don't offer Wifi, for the pure and simple reason that there isn't enough Wifi capacity for the village as a whole! The pub next door has free Wifi which they are very happy for campers to use, but at busy times even their service struggles. As a result we don't advertise or offer Wifi, so it's a little irritating to be rated for something that we don't offer! Sorry you felt the customer service was poor. We send a detailed email on booking which contains really precise directions and instructions for what to do on checking in. This information is repeated on a sign at the campsite gate and we make it really clear that people can just pitch up without needing to find us. Unfortunately we can't be in the house 24 hours a day as we both have other jobs and a family to run, so we try to make the arrival instructions as clear as possible, and indeed most of our campers have no problems on arrival. We are always available by phone and indeed your text and email on arrival were responded to within minutes. When we spoke on the phone a few minutes later you seemed happy with everything. As we live on site we are available most of the time, but as with any site, there will always be periods where reception is unmanned! It's a shame indeed that the mobile signal isn't brilliant but that is something we obviously have little control over. When we know that guests are travelling alone, we usually let them know that the site will be quiet when they arrive, but as your booking was made for two adults and two dogs, we weren't aware that you would be arriving alone. Again, sorry that you weren't satisfied. Your comments and rating are in stark contrast to the majority of reviewers who comment on the friendly customer service.

A aimé : Great location, close to the beach and right next to a pub with great food. There’s chickens roaming around which was lovely

A aimé : Good sized level pitches, clean toilets and hot showers, great location a very short walk to the beach and well located for other sites.

A aimé : It was a really cute sweet campsite had everything we needed and the people who ran it were so lovely! Was a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 2 minute walk from the pub. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

N'a pas aimé: Only thing I would say is we drove past it a couple of times because depending on which was you come from you can’t see the sign. But other than that 10/10.

A aimé : This campsite is perfectly situated .The beach is a short walk away .There is a lovely village pub next to the campsite and lovely beach cafes a quick walk across the dunes . Just a heads up the campsite is pretty basic so if you are looking for smart toilet blocks and showers then this is not the campsite for you.There are perfectly adequate showers and toilets , a fridge freezer and points to charge your devices .The emphasis is on rustic . We are a couple travelling in our 60s it was perfectly adequate for us .

N'a pas aimé: It was hard to find a negative.If I had to be picky I would say maybe a bigger fridge as it did get rather full during our stay .But that is not a reason to not visit this campsite .We will definitely be going back .

A aimé : Huge flat pitch, great communication with Ruth. Good access to beach. Didn’t use the pub but right next door and looked very nice with two outdoor gardens. Our second visit and we will be back. Oh! There’s a discount for the surf academy as well.

N'a pas aimé: Nothing to dislike with the site but almost zero phone signal. Can get a signal a short walk away so not a real problem.
