A aimé Price was cheap for a 2 night booking but the site needs some attention. Small bar and pizza cafe serving fresh pizzas and sides cooked perfect and delicious

N'a pas aimé Toilets block cleaning needs to be more frequent in the busy season. Not enough space between tents, next pitch set up there tent literally next to ours.

A aimé A Truly Wonderful Stay – Kindness That I’ll Never Forget ❤️

After a long 6-hour drive, we were given such a warm and friendly welcome at reception, which was very much appreciated.

As a single parent travelling alone, I have to admit I was already exhausted when I arrived. To make things even more difficult, it was an incredibly windy day and I really struggled to put my tent up. There were other campers nearby, but unfortunately no one offered to help.

Then the site manager came over and, together with another member of staff, helped me get my tent up. I honestly can’t explain how much that meant to me. It may have seemed like a small gesture to them, but to me, at that moment, it made a huge difference. As a single parent, travelling alone and trying to manage everything myself, it made me feel supported and cared for.

And the kindness didn’t end there. On another day, one of the lovely members of staff noticed how exhausted I was and offered to bring my washing to my tent once it had dried. Again, it was such a simple act of kindness, but it meant so much.

These moments have genuinely stayed with me. I have never experienced this level of thoughtfulness and kindness at a campsite before. Sometimes it’s not just the facilities that make a stay special — it’s the people, and the little things they do that make you feel seen and looked after.

The campsite itself was clean and well maintained, and the toilets and showers were clean too. The cleaning staff were polite and friendly.

Overall, our experience was excellent. The kindness and compassion shown by the staff made our stay especially memorable, and I am incredibly grateful.

I would absolutely return and would have no hesitation in recommending this campsite to my family and friends.

Thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome, and for showing such genuine kindness. It really did mean more to me than you probably realise. ❤️

A aimé The campsite only had one of our reservations- the other people in our party didn’t have a booking however they fixed the issue very quickly and found us a pitch.
The facilities are basic but I would say perfect for the price you pay, could do with more regular cleaning especially during peak times.

A aimé A quiet place with plenty of space for children to play, ride bikes, etc. Nice and clean toalet and showers. Park very clean.

Drain covers missing
Toilets not working, 5 toilets and 2 not working. Bins overflowing and smelling
Ramp from the toilet block was unsafe and not secure.

Glasses left out from the bar randomly dotted around the campsite.
Children running around and playing on bikes till midnight

Cars pulling up at 1am, I think the park is used for a walk through to the estate behind.
Cars pulling in and out all day and night doing a lap around and the going again.

Staff very rude and not helpful at all

Site shop is basically a tack shop
Randomly placed items not helpful at all

Building work getting done on site so noisy all day and very dusty

Shop is poor and bar isn’t much better

I wouldn’t stay again for free

Nothing in walking distance

Right next to a busy main road felt like we was trying to sleep on the A30

N'a pas aimé Shower facilities in desperate need of upgrade plus ceiling tiles missing.
Hard standing supposedly but hardly no gravel on the pitch.
Pitch was looking onto main road and new housing development

N'a pas aimé Not able to use the showers as the boiler was broken. The site manager did apologise. We were able to use a shower in a static caravan.
The grass needs cutting. I did see a man go in the ladies block to clean , no notice to say that a male could be cleaning the ladies block .

A aimé Having previously stayed at this cmapsite we decided to book again because of it's location to St.Merryn.
Also on our previous visit we were told that the clubhouse was under construction and a new complex was being built with swimming pool.

N'a pas aimé Unfortunately the new complex is yet to take shape. In fact in 2 years they are no further forward. It is an eye sore!
They do offer a small bar but no entertainment or food being served.

The onsite shop had very few products.

The pitches are hard standing but unkept. Weeds growing through the gravel.

The shower block was kept clean but on several occasions had no toilet paper.

We were also told on arrival that only one of the four boilers were working so the water in the shower block would be lukewarm.
It definitely wasn't warm enough to shower in and we were glad we had only booked 2 nights.
For £34 per night I expect to be able to have a warm shower.

We decide to move to another site for our 3rd night for a lower price, were we had fabulous amenities, a bar and entertainment, a well stocked shop, two swimming pools and a beach front location.

The couple running the site were always friendly but didn’t seem to know very much about the local buses.
The derelict buildings at the entrance were rather off putting
