South Penquite Farm

A aimé : Beautiful location and a wonderful relaxed camp site. Enjoyed evening walks on the moor and it's easy to access to both sides of the Cornish coast. The campsite is spacious and has everything you need. You can choose your own space, campfires allowed, clean toilets and showers, communal fridge and freezer for ice packs. Loved seeing all the animals, they are a highlight!

A aimé : Lovely clean site, really friendly owners. Working farm but not covered in flies like some working farm campsites can be! Lots of different fields to choose from. Great showers, really spacious. Freezer for cool blocks and a reception area with a kettle for 'emergency' teas (our tent porch pole decided to give up just as the rain really started, and sitting in the wet next to a gas stove didn't really appeal!). Great area, lovely walk right from the campsite. The indoor play area was fantastic as the weather was very changeable, but the outside play area also looked great. Free wifi at a certain part of the site, with a covered bench next to it.

A aimé : We booked in for 2 nights camping but ended up adding another day on as it is such a tranquil campsite. It started off with about 10 groups but by the last day there was only 3. We planned on exploring the area but we was having such a chilled stay we didn't feel the need too. They have a little park and sand area that kept our children entertained the whole time and there was ample space. The toilets and showers are spotless and very good. They have a small fridge and freezer which we used for small bits and place to do laundry. We had a perfect stay and can not say thank you enough.

A aimé : The hedges dividing the camping fields, full of birds. The local walks. The moors surrounding the farm. The family running the farm and camping. The water heated by the sun. The clean facilities.

N'a pas aimé: The plunge taps in the ladies toilets are very stiff to push. The water jets out a bit fast and sprays everywhere.

A aimé : Just beautiful. Well maintained, clean facilities. Open plots, campfires and barbecues allowed and plenty of options for activities including walking straight out onto the moor.

A aimé : Lovely relaxed warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent ecologically friendly facilities. Cute baby chicks wondering in the yard and apple laden trees… making it a really magical campsite. Loved it and would totally recommend to anyone.

A aimé : Great space and camping area. Very clean toilet / shower facilities with music! Brilliant little breakfast set up from 8-10. Loved the animals roaming around - nature at it's best.

A aimé : Amazing site, we loved the fact that you could pitch where you wanted. The facilities on site are amazing, an indoor toy section for younger children and a play barn sand area. My older children enjoyed the table tennis. Toilets (it was a nice touch having music being played in the toilets) and showers are super clean. We very much enjoyed the lamb burgers and the dutch oven campfire cook set which we purchased on site. Having a lockable charging cabinet was a great idea. It gave the site a lovely feel to see all the turkey, ducks and chickens roaming about. Honestly this site is so well thought out, we thoroughly enjoyed our Stay.
