A aimé An absolutely fabulous place to pitch up. HUGE pitches (especially if like me you were solo camping), welcoming hosts, fabulous eco credentials (the nicest compostable loos and converted showers I’ve seen), and pizzas/bacon rolls that perfectly hit the spot. Thoroughly recommend as a base to explore the coast or the forest. I hope to be back!

A aimé The overall experience was perfect ! We showed up a little later and they made sure that our group of 3 were still together. While we were pitching the Host came over to chat and introduce himself, he’s a great laugh 😂. The facility’s were a little different being a composting toilet and showers built in an old horse trailer but both incredibly clean and very functional and actually added to the experience ! Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a change in the weather but we will 100% be returning ! Thank you for having us 😁

A aimé Extremely friendly welcome upon arrival and all throughout our stay. A very precise site induction ensured everyone (even the kids) were aware of the do’s and don’ts which was important considering the recent local forest fires.
A small but very sociable fire pit/cafe/reception area which was well used, with the owners joining in.
All facilities were immaculately clean and well stocked at all times.

A aimé Absolutely amazing place. We booked last minute for 2 nights because we wanted to visit the New Forest area. After arriving 2 bright smiles greeted us. A Perfect, Eco-Friendly Camping Gem! You can immediately tell that the hosts truly understand the essence of camping. The campsite itself is small, incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and the owners are super friendly.
What we loved most is that the campsite is eco-focused. This is a huge added value and, honestly, exactly what camping should be all about: connecting with and respecting nature. If you are looking for a genuine, welcoming, and relaxing getaway, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Such a lucky find, exactly what we wanted for a weekend away as 2 friends with our kids. The whole site was kept spotless, the toilets and showers were lovely and clean. We had pizzas and breakfast baps which were all delicious and really well priced. We were made to feel so welcomed by Stumpy and Maria (I hope I’ve got that right!), they were so accommodating and helpful - thank you.
