The Star Inn Caravan Park

A aimé : We love this site, the pitches are large and level, there’s plenty of room!
The toilet/shower block are immaculate!
Very peaceful, surrounded by farmland!
……..and to top it off, there is a friendly pub at the entrance to the site, that does great food at reasonable prices!!!!!

A aimé : Lovely clean site. Toilet block was spotless. WiFi free and really good signal. Pitch had ehu, water tap and drain, all for £28 per night. Pub next door where staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good too! Could arrive from 12 mid day and didn't have to leave until 11am next day. Lovely big field surrounded by trees and woodland. Peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely go again.

A aimé : Spacious plot. Facilities super clean and modern. Pub food fantastic. Quiet site so very relaxing.

A aimé : It is an adults only site, a peaceful environment with countryside to the back of site.
The field, toilet and showers very well maintained. The wifii was good.
We visited attached pub The Star for a meal.
The staff were very friendly and the meal was really nice no kept overs on our plates.

A aimé : Well layed out site with good facilties and flat pitches. The showers we hot and facilties clean. The beer in the pub was good and the food not bad either.

N'a pas aimé: Only negatives are that the shower heads are fixed and the walls in the shower cubicle could be a bit cleaner.

A aimé : Lovely layout, quite, very well kept.
The adjacent pub had excellent food and very friendly service.

A aimé : Pitches are good size and level. We had water tap and waste on our pitch. New facility block is excellent and clean. Pub had a selection of cask ales/ ciders & lagers. Pub menu was good and reasonably well priced, what we had was tasty and nice. Site is excellent overall.

A aimé : Always a pleasure staying on this site. The staff are lovely and the grounds are kept well. We have stayed here many times.

N'a pas aimé: The bathroom and showers have not been kept as clean as they have been in our previous stays over the last couple of years. Scale on the shower heads. toilet brushes were very dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere. It's the first time I have seen this like this on this site.

Fish and chips great
Nice and quiet apart from the party in the marquee on Saturday night although it sounded like a good party!! And took the pressure off of us to whisper after 9.30pm 🤣
Booked to go again so even though all of the points below were annoying it hasn’t put us off.

N'a pas aimé: We arrived on our pitch at 7.20pm on a Friday evening and were told we had to order food by 7.45 as kitchen was closing. We weren’t aware of this. It was busy and only one person serving and taking food orders which was quite stressful.
My friends booked their pitch at same time as us and we both requested the 2 pitches closer to the carpark where we had stayed before and knew the sun would be on the pitch early and late. This was ignored but our preferred pitches remained empty all weekend. When we arrived they said they didn’t have my friends booking, luckily she had the email receipt. We were given much smaller pitches than expected which was disappointing.
