A aimé : Calm introduction by Ian. Peaceful environment, great woodland, nice walks. Enjoyed watching the wildlife in the forest.

A aimé : Loved being in the woods surrounded by trees. Every pitch is fairly secluded so it really feels private. Great walks straight from the site. Fresh water on site and there’s a compost toilet too.

A aimé : The toilets were extremely clean. The pitches were very private and hidden away from everyone. Lots of pitches to chose from.

N'a pas aimé: Not a dislike but lower cars might struggle driving round the Forrest.

A aimé : It was quiet and you were far away from other campers. In fact we hardly saw anyone. There was toilet paper.

N'a pas aimé: Hardly any facilities - just a toilet. No showers or even water. It was hard to work out what were pitches and what were just paths through the woods. When we finally did find something that looked like a pitch, there was hardly enough room for our tent and there were loads of brambles in the area. All this for 30 quid a night!

A aimé : As soon as I booked, Ian messaged messaged me and thanked me for my booking. He emailed within the hour with accurate directions. I camped with a tentbox and 2 birth tent with my sister and 2 dogs. The area was stunning. Very secluded and spacious. You can set up where you like. We camped in the woods. There are compost toilets which were very clean. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

A aimé : We loves our stay at Holmans wood. Thw first day we had the whole site to ourselves. We took some lovely walks and had a perfect pitch for our car, tent, food and fire pit. We would definitely return to this spot. Its not more than a half hour drive from our home so it's ideal. Ian was such a great help with information and came to check in on us to see We had everything we needed. Was a lovely quiet place.

A aimé : Beautiful location and the pitches were far enough apart that you almost felt like the only people there and Ian was so friendly and helpful, made us feel really welcome! The toilets were clean and had plenary of toilet roll and soap and there is even a place to wash dishes if needed

A aimé : This is such a beautiful site! Even though there were other campers nearby it still felt private and spacious. Great for bird watching. Ian was very easy to communicate with about any queries we had. We'll definitely be back for another visit.
