A aimé Nicely laid out,clean & tidy.Easy walk into town from the back of the site.

N'a pas aimé As mentioned in other reviews,the toilet/shower block let it down.The site is a straightforward layout & the bins ,elsan point were easy to find but better signage would probably help for some visitors.There isn't a reception/small shop selling essentials but that's just our personal preference!

A aimé Everything adequate sized pitch exceptionally quiet,well kept and the drive in is lovely down the driveway at the bottom of the site you can cut through the gate and it’s a 10 min walk to a Tesco and two pubs,when we were there there was only us and a camper this site is new and was a shame for it to be so empty as it is so nice

A aimé Very peaceful campsite, all slept well.
Toilets and washing up area kept clean.
Pitch was as perfect size, fit our t5 and our car. Would definitely return.

A aimé Lovely clean and secure site.

N'a pas aimé No site map so didn't know where we were going.
No signs to say where the elsan point was.
No signs on the outside of the toilets until you get up to the door. And they're really faded.
Showers are just mini cubicles no privacy or anywhere to get changed or dried.

A aimé Location is good for York, with good bus routes..
Clean and tidy.
Nice local Village with 2 lovely Pubs within an easy 10 minute walk.
Staff friendly.
Quiet site.
Good dog walk.

N'a pas aimé Showers were terrible.
Didn't like the "concrete slabs" that some of the pitches were on.
Bit of "Local info" would have been good..ie.. walks , maps etc.

A aimé The park looks amazing with hardstanding and gravel pitches and the shortcut into town makes it a 10min walk.

N'a pas aimé The showers are ridiculous 2 tiny cubicles in the toilets, either get up early and use the disabled or use one in your van. Glitch on there system meant everyone was emailed a payment request though it was already paid in full, I did pay it then a refund was processed.

A aimé Huge, secluded pitch. Lovely site, freshly renovated grounds. Would deffo book again. Friendly staff to greet us when we arrived and was very happy to help if needed.

N'a pas aimé Concrete hard standing was a bit worse for wear. You need to be very savvy with the way you pitch in order to peg your awning into grass

Didn't really use the facilities so cannot comment.

A aimé Large pitches. Clean site. Friendly staff.

N'a pas aimé Showers - too small and nowhere to hang clothes as it is so small and does not have a dry area.
Could do with a small shop.

A aimé We’re new to caravanning and this was our first outing, so our first stay.
I can’t comment on differences between sights, but this sight was spotless. So clean, well kept gardens & pitches. So quiet & lovely, very nice .

N'a pas aimé Only thing that let it down was the showers. They’re in the toilet area. No room to put anything, stepping out into the same room you wash your hands.
The water was hot, if you could get any. After stepping into the shower & starting to shampoo my hair, the water went off, little trickles which wasn’t great.

N'a pas aimé No signs anywhere for drinking water or elsan. Showers unsuitable if you have young children.
