A aimé : Nicely laid out site, not busy, quiet used as an overnight stop on the way to and back from Northumberland

N'a pas aimé: 6Amp electrics, tripped with just the kettle, fridge and hot water, very frustrating having to go and reset the fusebox. Quite expensive - but worth the outlay for convenience on our journey

We do state on pitchup and on our booking confirmation that we are currently only 6 amp, which means only camping electrics will work, domestic electrics won't work with out tripping the electrics as you found out.

A aimé : Stayed here for the night with my son who is currently at Cattrick Garrison so a great location for us to have a night together. Walked out to both local pubs which are close by. Fantastic food and service in the Farmers arms.Clean toilets and peaceful site. No wifi but decent 4g on our mobiles

N'a pas aimé: Not really a dislike but until the EHU amp is raised either have a 6amp kettle or cook / kettle on gas. Maybe it should be a reflection in the price?

A aimé : Nice and quiet

N'a pas aimé: We arrived and our name wasn't on the board to let us know what pitch we were on. We rang - no answer so we chose our own pitch. The electricity supply is only 6 amps and we couldn't even boil the kettle with all other electrical appliances off! It mentioned that the site was 6 amps but as we have never been on a site with such a mean supply, we didn't realise the implication of that. We paid (which I thought was expensive at the time of booking) £35 per night for electrical hook up! We have paid less for far more electricity/facilities/helpful owners. What made it worse was there was only one ladies toilet and shower and they were in the same room so if the shower was being used, you couldn't use the toilet. I saw 19 pitches indicated on the board as we came in so insufficient facilities anyway. Although the room was heated it was full of dusty cobwebs and if that doesn't say that it wasn't cleaned, I don't know what does.

As I explained to you via text we had had an emergency on the yard and I hadn't had time to do the board with the same day bookings, and instead of moving you to the correct pitch I swapped you with the people who had been allocated that pitch. Your pitch number and also a note reminding you that our hookups are only six amp at the moment was also on the booking confirmation you received from us. Our hookups are currently only six amp as we are having to upgrade our supply which is taking time to organise as we are at the mercy of Northern power grid. This is stated on PitchUp as you read, however I can not control weather you bother to take the time to look into what this will mean for your stay. There are in fact 2 shower/toilet blocks that are clearly marked on the site map, which are cleaned every day!. Although I am aware we do have very industruse spiders that insist on frequenting our facilities. :(

A aimé : Quiet and peaceful site. Plenty of space between pitches. A very pleasant stay. 10 minute walk to local shop and Pub which served good food and was dog friendly.

N'a pas aimé: Would have been good to have some information on local walks as we did not know the area. I did ask a lady along track from site and she very kindly gave me directions to a couple where we could exercise our dog.

A aimé : Small friendly site, great pitch, good facilities Well positioned for access to Richmond Good local shop 2 minutes down the road Plenty takeaways 10 minutes away Will go again next year

A aimé : We absolutely loved our stay at millfields. Great location not too far from Richmond and plenty of great walks for the dogs. Only a short walk to the pub too which was dog friendly. I never had to wait for a shower or the toilet if I went to use the onsite facilities. We would definitely return.

N'a pas aimé: Lane at the back of us was used more than expected maybe something to do with solar plant? Some farm traffic but expected due to harvest time. It didn’t ruin our stay.

A aimé : Lovely clean site spotless in fact ,heated toilets/showers, there is 2 sets opposite end of the site to each other . Nice views of horses in the field next door, lovely people were staying same time as us and it was very quiet ,nice walks for dogs ,
