Oak Deer Country Park

A aimé : Warm welcome in stormy conditions. As first time campers we were treated like family as they not only took time to share information on the Site and facilities being attentive to our needs but also with warmth and light humour which is what we needed after a 3 hour journey through heavy rain with thunder and lightning. Though we only stayed one night we left feeling like we’d known them for years. So so friendly and helpful.

A aimé : The 2 most helpful and kind gentleman. We drove to Staffordshire 4 plus hours to buy our caravan and didn't get into the site till 10 o'clock at night. They where both there with torches to help us out and where chatty and friendly. The campsite was clean and well maintained. Close to amenities you can walk next door to get tea bags. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks James and the other gentleman (forgot to get your name!) For making this experience fun Instead of a disaster! The site is immaculately clean and nice and quiet. Loads of gorgeous walking in the area and a great looking pub just down the road.

A aimé : Fantastic well kept site.Situated in a lovely village with great facilities inc a Great Pub (Bank house) Chip shop Chinese takeaway and 2 large local supermarkets ( Co-op and Morrisons) all within 5 mins walk.A special mention to James his wife and Chris who are so helpful and friendly.Will definately be returning

A aimé : Peace and quiet, friendly greeting and grateful for him telling us where everything was located in the village.

A aimé : Well kept clean park with likeable and helpful warden .

N'a pas aimé: There must be a kennels nearby as dogs barking a lot . If one started barking the rest joined in then quiet again .

A aimé : I have to say this site was brilliant for a group of us that went there. James who is a top guy, put us altogether and tried his best to accomadate us in the best way he could. James, was amazing and could not do enough to help us. There's a lovey pub just down the road and a large Co-op right next to the site. It does say on the pitch-up site that there are no toilets or elsan point, but there is one unisex toilet that I have to say was the cleanest toilet I've ever seen, super spotless no matter what time of the day you went to use it. There is also an elsan point which was definately a bonus too. Yes, there are no showers and that's the only downfall but that's what campings all about lol. Fully recommend and I will definately been going again, that's if we are allowed lol

A aimé : Nice location. Well managed and very helpful staff. Nearby shops and takeaways and a great local pub.

N'a pas aimé: Barking dogs in a nearby neighbourhood. Cash payment only on arrival, no card facilities. pay as you go electric meter paid online, minimum payment £5.

A aimé : Lovely clean site, wardens were great, very friendly and amenable, excellent position, right near a shop and 2 mins from a pub. We only stayed 2 nights whilst visiting family, so showering wasn't an issue for us, ( we have one in the caravan ) but the lack of a toilet block and showers would be an issue for a longer stay ( hence the 4 * rating ) would definitely have been a 5* if they had had a shower block. Would stay again though.
