A aimé Extremely quiet, spacious, well-located site. Co-op, pub and takeaways within walking distance. Friendly site manager and worker - both very helpful and welcoming.

A aimé This is the 2nd time we have stayed here whilst visiting family. The warden is a lovely guy, nothing is to much trouble .The site is super clean and pitches a good size. There's a shop right next door and a pub 5 mins walk down the road.
Great base for going and exploring the area, especially Cannock chase. Dog friendly with a fabulous view over the countryside.
Now the not so good bit,
Toilets, theres only 1, which is ok when theres not many on site, but could be a big problem when full.
Showers...there are none, I would love there to be a some.
Noise. The 1st time we came it was wonderfully peaceful, this time not so much, a neighbours ( from the residential houses nearby ) dogs barking. We accept that this happens though.
The Elsan would be benefit from having its own area.
WiFi would be great, but not a major issue.
This site has the potential to be a really great hidden gem, if there were better toilet & shower facilities. ( especially if we continue to get hot weather in summer months ).

Yes we will come again as we like it.

A aimé They are so welcoming and helpful. Lovely pub over the road. Co-op next to site and Morrisons and takeaways a couple of mins walk. There is a toilet onsite, water, ehu and facilities to empty your loo. Nothing is too much trouble would recommend. Lovely and quiet

A aimé Very clean and well kept park. Dog friendly. It was quiet and close to local shops/pub, there is a Co/Op just outside the park which was very very handy. The onsite manager and his coworker were really polite & friendly and let you get on with your stay. Easy to access, and easy to come/go when needed.

N'a pas aimé Didnt dislike anything, just a suggestion, the field could have had a walk way mowed around it. Its very dense with grass/shrubs. We didnt take our dogs on this occasion but if we had it would have been handy and easier.
Apart from that no dislikes we enjoyed our friendly stay.

N'a pas aimé Didn’t feel safe as a single camper. No explanation on how I could leave if I needed to, not just at night, other than ask the warden in his caravan on site, would have preferred a code to get out if necessary.

Réponse du gestionnaire : I'm totally shocked anyone could say they didn't feel safe this park is nestled in a quiet village setting fabulous location we have never had a problem and neither has anyone else who's stayed on the park also you don't need a code to leave the park because the gate is opened by a security sensor when you get close this also makes the park safer,

N'a pas aimé Booked 4 Nights adults only site as schools were breaking up for the summer.
The first evening we discovered the owner was allowing children on site when I asked the site warden about it he said he said there was nothing he could do.
We packed up and left next morning
No refund was given

A aimé Great little site, next to a shop and a short walk to the pub.
Hosts were lovely, very helpful and friendly

A aimé We really enjoyed our stay here but more due to an excellent pub and restaurant being a short walk from the campsite. There is also a supermarket just next door which is incredibly well stocked. The campsite itself is quite basic but very well cared for and we watched a beautiful sunset over the nearby fields. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. As disclosed there are no showers / toilets on site though we did have electric hook up.
