N'a pas aimé Pitches are quite small. Noise at night from dogs on the neighbours farm (sounded like the Hounds of the Baskervilles)

We appreciate your comment about the pitch sizes. Our pitches are laid out in accordance with Shropshire Council’s guidelines, although we understand they may feel compact for some larger outfits.

Sorry the nearby hounds disturbed you during the night — unfortunately, this is outside our control.

A aimé Only 1 shower cubicle but was clean

N'a pas aimé Pitch was very small and not marked out, there is no clear spacing and no privacy between pitches. Entrance to site is narrow there are 2 entrances but the sign for our entrance was in an open gate on the car park, no clear signage on the road so not great if you go to the wrong entrance. Didn't feel.the pub was comfortable for outsiders, felt it's very much a locals pub, we wnt once first a couple of drinks, didn't feel comfortable enough to go again. We stayed on site for 3 nights.
Did not see any member of staff apart from the lady behind the bar for the hour we stayed in the pub.
Zero wifi and zero phone signal.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the site wasn’t to your taste, although we’re pleased you found the shower clean.

Our pitches are laid out in accordance with Shropshire Council’s guidelines, and we appreciate that the layout and spacing may not suit everyone. We have three shower facilities for our 28 pitches — one ladies’ shower, one men’s shower and one unisex shower.

Thank you for pointing out the signage for Entrance A. That’s a helpful observation, and we’ve now moved the sign off the gate to make it clearer for arriving guests.

We’re also disappointed to hear you didn’t feel comfortable in the pub. We are a small, traditional local pub, but our regulars consistently receive positive feedback from campers about how welcoming they are, so it’s a shame you didn’t have the same experience.

We’re a small family-run business and, particularly in the low season, we normally have just one team member on duty. This is why we operate a self-check-in system, with a welcome letter, directions and a map showing the pitch layout emailed to guests before arrival, so everything they need is available when they arrive.

Regarding mobile phone signal, this is unfortunately dependent on your mobile network provider rather than something we can control. We are in a rural location and coverage varies between networks. Wi-Fi is available in the pub, although we appreciate this may not have been suitable for you.

A aimé Staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. The site is lovely and clean, toilets and showers were also clean and water was lovely and hot. The pub was very quaint and cosy and the food was basic pub menu but we ate there both nights as the food was nice. I liked that there was a water tap near the pitch as well as the hookup point. The location is lovely and green. Only took a few minutes in a taxi to Bridgnorth and cost £6. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

N'a pas aimé Pack of hounds howling at night especially from midnight to 7am. Toilets not very clean, no hot water in taps, no toilet paper on one occasion, hand drier in mens not working on two occasions and not at all in disabled.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the pub and food, although we’re sorry that other aspects of your stay fell short.

We’ve taken your comment about the toilet roll on board and are installing a second toilet roll dispenser in each cubicle to help prevent this happening again.

Our maintenance team has also checked the hot water and everything is working correctly. We didn’t receive any other reports of hot water issues that weekend, but we’ll continue to keep an eye on it. We’re also sorry about the hand dryers and the cleanliness of the toilets, and will make sure these are monitored more closely.

Regarding the hounds, the kennel is located nearby and unfortunately some noise can occasionally be heard. We appreciate that this may have disturbed you during the night.
