Site bien entretenu/géré en famille, à 5 min de route de Caistor
À 10 min de route de Market Rasen et une demi-heure de Cleethorpes
Havre de randonneurs : nombreux chemins et Viking Way à proximité

Chug on over to Station Farm Caravan and Camping for a well-placed break with loads to do all around… this well-maintained and family-run site is on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and a five-minute drive from Caistor and its leafy green surrounds. This is top territory for outdoor adventures, with easy access to trails including the 147-mile-long Viking Way running between Humber Bridge in north Lincolnshire and Oakham in Rutland; detour uphill to All Saints Church, a 15-minute drive from the site and overlooking the route, which pays homage to hikers with stained glass windows depicting walkers. Longer treks are all around too, including coastal ambles – best topped off with beach swims, of course – within half an hour’s drive. Meanwhile, landlubbers can roam round Hall Farm Park with a drive of less than five minutes. Return to the site to spread out on a roomy pitching field with access to cold water standpipes, chemical disposal, and a toilet and shower block added in 2019. For food and supplies, the nearest shops are in Caistor three miles away, where there’s a supermarket, takeaways and pizza along with several pubs. More options for food can be had over at one of the more than 50 independent shops in Market Rasen, 10 minutes from the site. The only racecourse in Lincolnshire is based here as well if you fancy a flutter on the horses… Don’t mind driving for 20 minutes? You can also pay a visit to Lincolnshire’s oldest thatched-roof pub.

Make tracks from Station Farm Caravan and Camping to Brigg Garden Centre and you can be fawning over the flowers within 15 minutes’ drive. Families can journey a further five minutes to FunForest Brigg for an indoor playground aimed at ages five to 11, and under-10s might also want to settle in at the soft play and Angry Birds areas at Sundown Adventureland (50 minutes' drive). Young adventurers are also the focus at Rand Farm Park (25 minutes), where kids can ride trailers and tractors, run rampage at the indoor and outdoor play areas, and feed the animals. More animals are at the Jungle Zoo in Cleethorpes (30 minutes), home to critters ranging from African bullfrogs to white-throated capuchins. Elsewhere in Cleethorpes, there’s a coastal light railway to zoom around on as well as beaches and boating lakes for aquatic days out.

A aimé : Small site but has clean toilet and shower block for male and females. Has single shower and toilet in mens area but this is plenty as most of the pitches here are for caravans etc.Has a pay to use washer and shower also. No wifi that i could see. Good prices for the non electric tent area with next to tent parking. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pub 30 seconds away on foot. Scenery lovely.

N'a pas aimé: The tent pitches are very close together with another tenting site a few feet away over the fence boundary. The pond looks amazing but no access from this site to the very close pond. You might end up with at least 5 tents all around your tent as you are on the wire fence and another site other side so you could have 5 tents very close to you. The noise on the night from foreigners or gypsies or whatever was staying on site was bad. They could be heard for miles around and i believe they got removed next morning. Screaming and yelling all night but didnt bother me as i was in my bed comfy with a movie :D .Had to leave after 1 night as gf needed me but lovely owner lady gave me a refund for time not used thank you.

A aimé : Pitches were completely level Great value campsite Clean facilities Smooth check in, friendly staff

N'a pas aimé: Quite noisy - Sunday night there was loud music and karaoke going on until about 10.30/11pm. Possibly an event at the pub nearby. Can hear the train track nearby but trains infrequent. Although we could see a lake from our camping spot, it was in the campsite next door and there was no access from this campsite.

A aimé : How chilled the campsite is. How clean it is. There wasn't as many bugs in toilets as there was last year. Not far from the farm which we loved and not too far from shop.

N'a pas aimé: The amount of wasps that was about but the campsite can't help that there is buckets about to Try to help.
