Ryeford Ponds Glamping

A aimé Lovely shady and secluded camping in valley surrounded by trees and nature. Plenty of space surrounding each pitch. Good facilities for cooking in the shared kitchen area. My daughter loved the selection of games and various rope swings and hammocks around the site.

A aimé Everything! The most perfect place to relax unwind and reset. The setting is stunning and the host so welcoming and friendly. So much love has been put into this beautiful little place. We loved watching the bats whilst sitting at the campfire and listening to the tawny owls. Thank you so much for sharing this space. We would love to come back

A aimé More space and privacy than most other campsites. I do a bit of wild camping and this is the best alternative with the bonus of brilliant facilities. Well suited to young families as plenty of things for them to play with and enjoy nature

and you are very right.... it is a bit of both - we tried to create as near as possible experience of "wild camping" but with the usual creature comforts we don't like leaving behind .... clean, good toilets, hot showers, fridge, hammocks, fire pits etc etc... Trying to hit a balance was a key. SO glad you noticed and enjoyed it too! THANKS AGAIN FOR STAYING AT RYEFORD PONDS!

A aimé Everything! It’s a beautiful place with really generous pitches and a warm welcome too. My son loved the hammocks, swings, table tennis, book nook, so many games to borrow. The site is also really convenient for the Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat so a great base if you have biking or watersports in mind.

These are definitely best compliments. THANKS. We do work hard to make sure everything is in order and more than expected at the campsite, so thanks for noticing all the little touches and attention to details - our favourite spots are definitely the hammocks and board games. plus of course - watching the wildlife and nature straight from your tent, in the privacy of your own pitch set away from anyone else... whether our guests are camping or glamping with us! Comfort, warm, personal welcome, privacy and small impact on environment are key points for us.

A aimé A fantastic stay at Ryeford Ponds. Aldona was an amazing host, and the accommodation was 1st class.
It was so lovely to see the grandchildren getting dirty on the rope swings and running around free and safe. Will definitely be back. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A aimé I had the most wonderful weekend glamping at Ryeford Ponds. I stayed in one of the bell tents and was immediately blown away by the beautiful location and the secluded nature of the site. There is so much outdoors space, the tents are so well prepared, clean and comfortable and the facilities were amazing. Aldona was such a lovely host who ensured I was comfortable and had everything I required, and the camping kitchen would have provided the rest had I forgotten it. This was a truly magical site and Aldona & Ed really have thought of everything. I have recommended it to so many people already and I can't wait to return.

Thank you for noticing the little things we put so much effort into... like the kitchen or "unspoiltness" of the valley. It is just how WE like it and i love hearing others enjoying their time here too. It is all about the fabulous great outdoors - but with added comfort of good bed, spacious tent, decent bathroom, great cooking facilities for proper alfresco dining and enjoying the nature around us.... stargazing, campfires, morning birdsong... great to hear people appreciate it! And the biggest compliment to us is to hear guests would love to come back.
