A aimé Lovely warm welcome and all staff were friendly couldn’t have done enough for us. Food was 10/10 highly recommend the steak! We will most definitely be stopping off here again on our way home!

N'a pas aimé Waterlogged site, yes due to heavy rain but also poor upkeep of drivable areas.

Main toilets not 24 hours and only single portaloo when closed.

A aimé Everything was damn near perfect idyllic and so peaceful we will definitely be back they couldn’t have done more for us and we’re on it with all our issues that we’re all related to our caravan not the site they bent over backwards

Pitchup took our booking for 2 nights even though only one night was available.

A aimé As usual, a friendly welcome from everyone at the pub. Food is very good and plentiful.
They even had lawnmower racing on Sunday morning. A nice relaxing break around nice relaxed people.

A aimé Basically, everything. The site was clean and tidy and there was a very warm welcome from the staff who showed us where everything was, we went up for food and the children and dog was very welcome. I had the steak the kids had smash burgers and my partner had the loaded fries and the portions were massive and everything cooked to perfection. There is a really nice pool table which we played on for the majority of the evening before we went back to the tent and the beer garden is lit up with really pretty lights which make it easy to find your way back we enjoyed ourselves so much that we are going to be attending the big events that they have on shortly. It’s nice to find somewhere so friendly and inviting and the staff really could not do enough to help. Look forward to coming back for Oktoberfest, Halloween and their big bonfire and firework party. our new favourite place.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi, thanks for the review. Glad you found us very friendly and the food good. With regard to your concerns about the bin placement, they aren't the prettiest thing we have to admit but unfortunately we can't place them anywhere else as the bin collection company will only collect them from there and the access is frequently used by very large lorries and Winnebagos. The tree in the drive is avery old oak tree and is trimmed during is off period to make sure it doesn't damage campers etc, but sorry you felt that the access was somewhat difficult for you.
