A aimé Absolutely beautiful setting, in the middle of a field views, next to woodland and gorgeous organic farm shop. Wild camping beautifully done

A aimé I enjoyed it. Pretty laid back here. I liked how it was peaceful and relaxed check out time.

Compost toilets better than I expected. They at least had a toilet lid.

N'a pas aimé Two outdoor showers in a kind of shed. However the middle part (all around in general) is high but not enough. Twice the tall guy in the cubicle looked over. Once i can understand maybe a mistake but also why would you look when you know the door was shut? But he did it a second time later so actually I have taken off stars for this because structurally it can be addressed.

Either the shower walls need to be higher or male and female showers separated .

Toilets smelled easily but for a short amount of time it’s not too bad.

Also it is zero waste which is great so take all rubbish home. For us just one night it wasn’t a huge deal but if we stayed longer we wouldn’t know where to take all the rubbish.

I’m not sure if I would stay again mainly cause the shower was uncomfortable.

A aimé View is stunning and the location is great being close to the town and in the middle of a countryside.

N'a pas aimé Road to the campsite is rough, facilities are the bare minimum (no toilet paper, only two showers available, no hand wash). I agree with the others that everyone ends up buying soap and toilet roll which will be wasted, also it’s not very hygienic (considering we are in the century of covid etc). I would have preferred just going into the woodlands somewhere. It would have been more hygienic.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi, sorry to hear you weren't happy with the facilties. We do say we are a very basic campsite and on pitch up it says that there are two showers and BYO loo roll. There is a tap for handwashing at the loos, but as a very basic site, guests bring their own soap. We understand that this more wild camping style is not for everyone. A aimé Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds and nice to do the recommended walking trail around the farm/local woods too! Also met some lovely fellow campers ☺️

A aimé Awesome views,close to centre,very clean toilets,lovely caffe shop and farm shop.
I'd strongly recommend and would gladly cone back.

A aimé Flat open field, wonderful views and so peaceful. Short work to the shop/cafe ensured I had everything I needed, will most definitely return soon.

A aimé Wow this site, myself and how I built my van all goes together, yes it has basic facilities but that's exactly how I love it. Loads of room. Will definitely be coming back.

A aimé This is one of those rare campsites you DONT'T tell your friends about because they might tell others and ruin a good thing! Gorgeous views.
Multiple fields and massive open space provides privacy despite little in the way of cover.
No traffic noise at all.
No cars on the main fields keeps the space more natural and well kept, wheelbarrows provided to ease off/on-loading.
Friendly staff and adorable farm shop & cafe.
No electric hook ups, and whilst the amenities are well looked after they are basic, providing more of a wild camping experience and keeps away city "one timers" and keeps it more about the experience.
Make sure to bring loo roll.

N'a pas aimé The connecting lane from road to car park is very rough, large sharp stones/rocks so watch carefully and drive slow (although for context I blew out a tyre just after leaving home to travel down for my first night so I was perhaps overly nervous).
The wind, but can't really blame the campsite haha.

A aimé Loved all about this site, Great facilities in a natural surroundings a big camping field and ample room for camper vans,if you want a natural camping break thats not commercialised then its for you,the nearby caffe and shop are a delight. Great if you want a break from the normal madness of life.
