Enjoyed it a lot, a nice clean and presentable area. Was definitely worth it.

Great location and good amenities. Beautiful campsite. Managed to get a decent pitch.

Not enough toilets for the amount of people. Very noisy on our side of field so not very relaxing chainsaws going all day. Needs cleaning alot more in new shower block. Not sure if it was just other campers that couldn't be arsed to use bins properly.

A great location, facilities were excellent. Having the bar and restaurant onsite was really handy.

Nothing really - children's playground could have been a bit bigger but only a minor gripe.

Great position for access to walks and cycle tracks in the hills.

Bar and cafe are nice.
Pizza oven is great.
Friendly and efficient staff.
Local shop next door is handy for supplies.

Old toilet block is dire, dirty, cold, wet, mouldy, with cobwebs etc. It’s literally still something from the 1970’s.
WiFi dropped out all the time.
Pitch fee a bit pricey.

Our second year at Newfold farm, and it’s lovely to see how it’s evolving. New shower and toilet block is great, and the old one still very much functional and close to electric pitches. We had a lovely time going or trails, chatting with other campers and enjoying the food made at the cafe and outdoor pizza. We’re looking forward to coming back again.

Excellent facilities, even better now new toilet block open, can't fault it, cafe is excellent too and competitively priced.

The campsite is in a great location, near to the train station at Edale and close to some fantastic walks. We visited the Devil's Arse in Castleton (recommend) and did a lovely walk up Kinder Edge - they have a handy walk guide for sale in the shop and the cafe.
We got coffee and cake from the cafe which was super, as well as enjoying a Pizza from the wood fired pizza oven on site.
We went in the school holidays and although the site was fully booked there was plenty of space (they didn't cram campers in, lots of room around our tent).
The newish toilet and washing block is fantastic, really well done and has electric points to recharge phones etc. Super clean.
Loved that we could rent a fire pit (although it rained on us that night but that's not the campsites fault).
Campers were quiet at night and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
