Love love love this campsite! Has everything you need and more! Perfect for walkers! The new toilet block is perfect at the bottom of grouse field, feels like more of a hotel facility than a campsite!

This is our 5th stay here and probably our best ever. The staff were helpful. The location is fantastic and the new shower facilities were very nice. There were
lots of campers this weekend and no noise or problems, just a great atmosphere. Everywhere is clean and we were blessed with great weather.

Nothing at all.

Getting in and out tricky with a caravan for the last couple of miles from main roads

Fabulous location for scenery & walking, with a great cafe/bar, shop & an excellent pub close by. Also great bus & train links & super helpful staff

Nothing, could only be made better by a dog wash & drying room - we had wild weather!!

New amenities/toilet block with very good private shower rooms. Clean.
Staff were friendly.
Ground very gently sloping on Sparrowhawk, but it was otherwise a nice surface for pitching tents. Other fields had more level areas.
Really liked the location. I drove but could’ve walked from Edale train station. Right beside the Pennine Way.
There is WiFi, apparently, but I didn’t try it.

Surprisingly, a wee bit noisy intermittently with occasional trains, and aircraft. Despite being new, the one men’s urinal in the central amenities block was out of order. There is another toilet block at the east end though, and plenty of cubical loos.
As far as I could tell, all rubbish goes in one type of bin? Including recycling, dog poo, food waste etc.

A great site in a great location. The on site cafe bar is great and does lovely food. There’s a small shop and two nice pubs within a few minutes walk. Loads of walks around the area with some stunning views.
The new facilities block is one of the best we’ve seen on campsites.

Only minor thing is the pitches feel very close, a little more space would have been nice but this wouldn’t stop us returning.

Lovely location, very close to amazing walks. Local pubs in walking distance.
