Loved this campsite! There are no cars allowed in the orchard where we camped and this meant the children could run around freely without us worrying. The facilities were well looked after and we enjoyed the raised firepits. It's a lovely relaxing site.

A highly recommended campsite with a strategic location that provides convenient access to all the attractions and activities that the Beacons has to offer.

We didn't have a longer stay

Setting and scenery was so, so pretty. Lovely walks on your doorstep, and so much history about. Not a big site, which we liked.

Our host was welcoming and showed us where all amenities were. The on site facilities good, clean and tidy kitchen and toilets.

Will definitely want to go again

Everything was more than wonderful: location, conditions, nature. But, first of all, these are the people who carefully maintain and service this location: an environment where the service is absolutely 100%, but at the same time you are in nature, not in a hotel... And, of course, the incredible apple orchard with its own special aura and history...

The site was lovely! Each pitch was hidden within the apple orchard and the pitch sizes were perfect. There’s a pub onsite selling homemade apple juice, cider, lager and snacks. The site was quiet, and on a clear night the stars were incredible. Toilets were clean, and there’s hot water available in the sinks. Only a 20 minute drive to the Brecon Beacons and a 15 minute drive to Hay On Wye where we spent days out on. Really enjoyed our stay.

Only 2 things:
-the pitches we could choose from were on slopes, so we didn’t sleep the best.
-there’s no bins for campers to use, eventhough there’s many bins for the pub, and plenty of room to get some.

Onsite facilities were clean. The onsite Tap house was great, the home made cider was amazing and the home made apple juice was something else. Camping in the orchard was beautiful and idyllic with plenty of room for each pitch. Didn’t feel like you were on top of each other. The gentleman who ran the tap house was lovely and very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. He especially went above and beyond when I became unwell on our second night going out of his way to get painkillers from a nearby town for me.

Lovely scenery in an apple orchard. We were welcomed by owner and shown around. Everything well organised (washing area, showers, toilets), fire pitch and wood available on site.
You need to use a barrel to bring your things but it not a big distance and it is nice to do not see cars next to the tents.

Too many people but I guess it is a holiday season, the pitches really close to each other, really compact. Perfect for families with children and friends or groups of people.

Orchard setting, lovely hosts, great on-site tap room serving tapas, very cheap, relaxed atmosphere, good facilities, great location.

Couldn't work the pizza oven. No fresh coffee on site. No compost and recycling bins.
