We were met with a friendly welcome . We could chose from several pitches . Our host wanted to ensure we was happy with our pitch as we were there for a whole week. Between the two of us we sampled 5 of the meals from the menu in the pub and they were all lovely . We felt welcome in the pub and the hosts were friendly.

Det var jätte mysig pub med godmat och fin miljö inuti puben.
Puben stänger köket kl:20 men kan ha öppet lite längre än till 21, ifall det är mycket gäster där.
Bra om man bokar ett bord, ifall man vill äta där.👍

Det var jätte skönt att avsluta kvällen med att äta middag där,
då man hade varit i London hela dagen och gått 😊

Det är ett litet familjeföretag, dom äger både puben och campingen.
Man checkar in vid puben.

Om man vill åka tåg in till London, så tar det ca 30 min, att gå in till Billingshurst och tågstationen där.

Man kan köpa biljetter in till Victoria stationen i London,
som vi gjorde,

och välja mellan en snabbare biljett, som kostar lite mer och tar ca 1 tim och 20 min in till Victoria stationen, eller en billigare biljett, då tar det ca 1 tim och 40 min in till Victoria stationen.

Vid Billinghurst har man en liten matbutik och lite andra små butiker och restauranger
att gå till, om man vill.

Det var tyvärr lite dåligt med varm vattnet, när man diskade, annars inget problem.

The site is well appointed with good washroom facilities, waste disposal, power hook-ups etc. It has good walks down to the River Arun and a neighbouring field in which to exercise dogs. The manager was very helpful and the site was well maintained.

Compared to other Sussex campsites where we have stayed, this one was not very picturesque and felt a little crowded. You need coins to pay for showers, which is rather inconvenient. The pub was closed on Sundays, so we cannot comment on that aspect.

Mmmm the food at the pub was good

The bathroom and shower facilities were filthy. We stayed for 4 nights and they were not cleaned at all during this time. Disgusting.

Lovely peaceful site amongst the trees , showers and toilets were very clean the pitches are behind a lovely old pub with good food and friendly staff would definitely stay here again

Nice people staying in the site.

General cleanliness of toilet block. Often out of toilet paper. Only two cubicles for the whole site. And 2 showers.
Showers are difficult to navigate as there is nowhere to keep your things off of the ground. The water slowly rises 2 inches to cover your feet as you shower too.

Very pleasant weekend. The amenities were very clean and tidy. The pub food was excellent and the service couldn't have been better.

To short a stay. Will book longer next time.

Platzgröße war okay

Nach zwei Jahren Corona hätte man zumindest die WC/Waschraum verbessern können. Hatte einen DDR Touch. Wir sind nach einer Nacht abgehauen.
