Owner friendly enough, but didnt really see much of him

Although I accept there were staffing problems regarding pub, which can’t be helped, I only booked site for this reason. It was not open at all during our stay. It should be noted on the booking site that probably won’t be open until staffing resolved, as it has clearly been going on for a while. The showers are exceptionally small and had an added charge. I don’t mind paying extra if facilities good, but these were distinctly average. Weather conditions obviously not great at this time of year but site is generally a bit scruffy. Maybe better in summer but not great in winter as could not even go onto pitch, and had to stay on pathway. If opening in winter should reduce price.

The ground was very wet as it was early December but we were able to park up on the hard services. The pod was comfortable and had a fridge and kettle and a small heater. There was a footpath to Billingshurst and a quicker route beside the road. The pub had a good menu and was full of character. Helpful and friendly staff and good facilities. There was no wifi but the reception was good.

Absolutely terrible, arrived into a untidy site, the other guests were long term men working on local construction sites not very welcoming.also we chose this because of the pub for dinner, unfortunately it was closed due to staff shortages.
My wife didn’t feel comfortable so we drove home, very disappointed.

Lovely cosy pub serving freshly cooked food.
Campsite was chilled and pitches large. Location good to go explore - due to weather we opted to go by car.
Showers were very clean and ample hot water. Over all, campsite had all that we needed. Almost didn’t go as weather was a washout but so glad we didn’t let that stop us. Had a fun time which was very needed.

Really friendly helpful owner, lovely pitch, brilliant pub and food onsite. Definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.

While site. Small enough to be convenient. Enough space for privacy. Pub next door. Nice pint.

Plenty of space, fairly level pitches.

Deliberately booked a Pub site - obvious reasons for social food and drink etc.
On arrival told that if we wanted a drink be quick, closing in 10 minutes. Pub closed before 4pm and not open that evening! Apparently no staff.
Asked for advice for nearby pubs or places to get food and drink - try in Billingshurst.

No information available about local walks, dog walks (even though a specific dog charge).
Toilet & shower facilities 'tired and lacking TLC', site generally untidy.
Local main road very noisy, appeared to be a busy truck route.

The showers were nice and hot, the site was peaceful, pitches were flat and plenty big enough. location was great for Goodwood, easy to travel to and from on Motor bike.

A very welcoming and helpful owner who gave us the option of pitches. We were informed that we could stay late on our last day if the tent required drying. Good facilities available for the rate charged. Good solid, flat and stone free ground to pitch a tent. Dog friendly with a walking area.
Sunday lunch was excellent and at a good price. Will definitely consider using again.
