A aimé Clear, flat site. Lots of fields to choose from. Flushing toilets and hot showers you don’t need tokens for.
Easy to find.

A aimé Location is beautiful, waking up to the Whitehorse and hills was just perfect!
Easy to find flat ground to pitch on over the 3 fields and being able to pitch where you choose gives you plenty of space and choice.
For the middle of august the site only had around 20-25 pitches used which is great for a relaxing quiet stay.
2 toilets and shower blocks situated at either end of the site, however I have to guess that the block at the entrance facilitates are superior as all campers drove down to these ones even though the were closer to the ‘wood’ end block.
Toilets are clean and always had paper with sinks. The showers are in the top 3 of campsites I’ve been to over the years, rustic yes but with water pressure and good temperature controls and with enough space to hang towels and clothes with them getting wet.
Stayed in a variety of campsites around Weymouth over the years and I have found my favourite- will be returning again!

N'a pas aimé Sadly and no fault of the owners, despite the warning of children and dogs running freely some campers drove far too quickly through the fields (my opinion)

A aimé The space. It’s huge!
The views are amazing.
Short walk to a really nice pub is a little hamlet. Beautiful place.
You can also walk to get the bus to most places.
The peace and quiet of other campers are respectful.

N'a pas aimé It’s set on a working farm so there is lots of poop everywhere.
Only 2 hot showers out end of the camp.
But we managed. More shelves and hooks in the showers would be great.
Noisy groups! Dealt with very well but the space attracts large groups.
It’s a long way to the freezer and bin wherever you’re camped.

A aimé Yes, lots of space! Close to interesting trails.
Clean toilets and showers.
Dog friendly.

N'a pas aimé No shop, limited amount of toilets and showers, but needed to wait only once.

We have two blocks of toilets and showers each end of the campsite.
One block of 6 toilets and six showers the second block of 5 toilets and four showers.

A aimé Lovely quiet campsite with plenty of room, basic site with toilets and shower and pot wash. Other users were respectful. Short walk through the back fields to the pub.

N'a pas aimé The push taps in the toilet are faulty and don’t release to turn off, therefore they were left running whilst we were in a drought (I manually pulled the tap up after use to turn it off). And there are 2 potash sinks, other people were washing up under running water, so if you wanted to fill your sink you had to wait, and both sets of taps barely worked together at the same time. Would be nice is there was a play area/park for the kids.

The taps in the toilet do release and turn off, these are checked when we clean at least four times a day. The taps are not designed to work together there is hot or cold water they are not mixer taps. If we had a play area or a park for the children we would have to increase the costs to cover this.
