Réponse du gestionnaire : We are sorry you found our area rural. The photographs clearly show it's rural location and is well used by families and other guests wishing for peace and quiet and it's rural nature attracts like minded guests.

It was unfortunate that guests had to recall us from an evening with our friends to quieten your (enlarged without permission or request) group of friends after 11pm.

Perhaps the rural location really isn't for you.

A aimé Beautiful site with panoramic views of the shropshire hills.

Toilet facilities were closer to glamping than camping. It was so refreshing having such a lovely and well-designed shower/toilet block whilst being away from home.

Fresh free range eggs available on site!

Extremely accommodating and friendly campsite hosts with a communal fire pit available to use on site (we didn’t use it as the winds were too strong!)

Incredibly clean, and we appreciated the cars being parked separately from the camping field. It was lovely seeing other little campers able to run around and play in the safety of the field.

The views and overall peacefulness of the site was unmatched. We had the best time!

A aimé What a fabulous site with a wonderful warm welcome! All facilities have been installed to a high standard. Nice and quiet with lovely views.

We aim to give a quiet, friendly site, family and couples orientated.

A aimé Nice and well spaced out. Small site without crowds. Toilets and showers very good and well kept. Unloading directly from car.

N'a pas aimé Not able to park alongside tent. Loud bloke standing by the firepit telling people he's going to Denmark on Monday for work (4 times in about an hour!)
My wife didn't like being badged "middle aged couple" to fill in this form 😲

Réponse du gestionnaire : We are disappointed with your score as we always strive to give our guests a 10 experience. We seem to have been marked down by things not of our making.

As you correctly state, we are a small uncrowded site. We space tents away from campervans so that everyone has space to relax and for children to play safely without moving cars.

It is specifically referred to in the booking conditions that cars are not allowed after unpacking as this provides the space and safety aspect.

We cannot be blamed for another guest who may have annoyed you by enjoying himself.

Nor can we be blamed for you being "labelled" by Pitchup into an age bracket.
We do not like being labelled pensioners, but truth is, we are of that age bracket.

We did explain to all of our guests that particular weekend that the water heating was being worked on in our free to use showers.

We explained it was warm, rather than hot but everyone seemed to enjoy that on this particularly warm weekend.
The showers have now been updated with thermostatic valves and there is hot water for washing up.

The pod seems to be a great success, especially for tents. It was very useful on Sunday as tents were being packed away and children could sit and play whilst it rained.

A aimé Well organised, with attention to detail to make the stay as comfortable and as friendly as possible.
The drinking water was superb.
