A aimé I loved the weather. the pitches were flat. The views were beautiful. very peaceful( had one fool let his son drive around the site which was sorted out very quickly). lovely walk to the pubs.

N'a pas aimé would have given it a 10 but there is surely a better way to distribute the wood. It was the most pathetic amount of logs for a tenner. Sadly i can understand why people would take more as they feel as if they are getting ripped off. If it was monitored properly i wouldn't be paying for the thieves.

A aimé Spacious field, which, despite being a very hot bank holiday weekend, did not feel crowded at all. Everyone appeared to give each other plenty of room, and there were no loud noisy groups that we could hear or see. The friendly reminder texts to keep the noise to a minimum, which came through at 10.30pm, came the impression that the campsite owners really care that everyone is able to have a nice time. The view and sunsets were lovely, and there were lots of very nice walks straight from the campsite. The porta loos were always clean and well stocked and even though the temperature at the weekend got to over 30 degrees, did not smell at all. Also, there appeared to be enough so you never had to queue. There were the two cold showers, which were very welcome due to the heat! The person we spoke to (sorry, I forgot to ask his name) was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe and the fact that it was just a field with some loos and cold showers. Check-in and check-out were easily done via text, and ordering wood was simple and fuss-free. An unexpected find at the last minute.

A aimé Great Site, ideal for walkers and families wanting a break really liked the larger field made it so much easier and gave you lots more space

A aimé This is a great site for quieter camping, big fairly flat field and all of it is good for pitching tents the bottom end you may need wheel leveling ramps for campers.
Plenty of porta loos and there's 4 showers (cold water only and it was very cold )
Plenty of walking or cycling options and the village isn't too far if you fancy a walk to the pub.
The fire pits are a great way to end the evening and easy to book.
I've been back numerous times and camped with my wife, alone, with my dog, with friends and it works well for all situations.
This weekend there were groups playing football, volleyball, there were rugby balls being thrown and kids riding bikes and still there's masses of space.

A aimé Another great stay at Ridgeway. Escape to the perfect place for anyone looking to forget the stress of day-to-day life.

Highly recommended. We took a leisurely stroll into Ipsden for a pint at the King Billy, then wandered back to the campervan taking in the glorious countryside along the way.

Do it. Get off the sofa and enjoy everything our beautiful countryside has to offer.

A aimé The loos being spread out around the field is great now! The loos are all amazingly clean too. We loved our stay - we are local and always choose this as our little local getaway.
