Me gustó 1st time here and would definitely come back Brilliant site plenty to do for adults and children There's a shop on site for all your essentials and chip shop would definatly recommend the food was made fresh and was really tasty All reasonably priced. For the kids there's the swimming pool and a big play area to keep them playing for hours There's all the amenities you need for a great stay the showers are clean . Has a laundrette and pot wash area The club is great had entertainment every night. Would 100% recommend In an ideal location to get to scarbrough and Bridlington theres a bus stop right outside if you didn't want to drive. 5min from filey and has a local garage at the end of the road and a pub across the way for family meals

No me gustó The pool is abit small but still good could do with some showers in the changing area. The arcade is ok but abit dated but does the job

No me gustó The security barrier didn't work half the time and was left up at night so any1 could of got on the sight. The new owners told the kids the park shut at 8pm and came round and told them all to go back to their caravans when it was still light and they were playing together because the people that live on site were moaning and had to get up for work the next morning. The camp site needs to be made for tourists or residents only as there will be families that visit here with kids that will want to play on the park until dusk and won't want be to be told at 8pm when its still light and there on holiday to go back to there tents or caravans. There were locals from another village come on site through the side gate at the main entrance which should also have a security code or key pass on and used the pool and there children had a poo in the pool the owners were alerted and they came and put new chlorine in but there was more poo found so this really put my stepson off swimming in there for the rest of are holiday The pool should of been shut cleaned and refilled. The facilities on site are good with on site laundry, showers, washing up facilities. The location is good as its only 7 miles from Newquay and is right next to the main carriageway. The only disappointment about this site is it needs to cater more if it wants to attract tourists and run as business the residents need ti understand this matter and also kids not being told at 8pm to go back to there caravans and aren't allowed to play outside after this time because there 2 noisy and disturbing the residents and to be told if they do want to play they would have to go out the main gate and on to the field which isn't acceptable as parents cant keep an eye on there kids from the site. The site should issue people with key cards to stop other people from nearby villages entering the sites and using the pool.

Del administrador: Hi The site rules indicate that the children's park is open from 8am - 8pm. These rules were emailed to you and have been the same rules in place for many years by both the current owners and previous owners. This rule is not only in place for our seasonal guests comfort but for holidaymakers who also don't wish to hear children screaming at 8pm, most holiday parks have a time limit on when facilities close. Ours is no different. Management did not ask the children to return to their caravans until 9pm, 1 hour already later than the childrens park closure time. Had the children have played respectfully and not been excessively noisy ( which they were ) then I'm very sure there wouldn't have been complaints made and it would have been unlikely that the children would have been asked to head back to their caravans before nighttime hit. Children are more than welcome to play in the field located by the entrance to the park past 8pm should they wish. There are signs up throughout the children's park stating children must be supervised ( and in the site rules ) which were also not being followed by guests on site. We understand that not many people understand how commercial swimming pools work and that's okay, I'm happy to explain to you. When solid matter is found in the pool, this is then removed, a higher level of chlorine is added to the pool ( atleast 2ppm ), there are then checks that the PH levels are optimum for the Chlorine to do its job ( 7.5 ) and checks are made to ensure the filtration system is working correctly and dispersing the chemicals around the pool. This is standard in the industry and does not require a full pool drain. Had we have taken the highly unnecessary step to drain the pool, it would take a minimum of a week to refill and a following week to reheat to a temperature which would have been suitable for swimming. This would have raised a large number of complaints and spoilt holidays for everyone, including yourselves. Not to mention cost hundreds of pounds for no reason. Locals are welcome to use our pool and do pay for the privilege, they do not just walk on site and use the pool. We can also say that in the year of this park being under new ownership someone depositing faeces in the pool is a new one on us and is the first time this has happened. The local family who used the pool will also not be welcome back. The security barrier is an ongoing issue which is being fixed by South West Automation.However the barrier being up did not affect your holiday. Kind regards Trekenning Tourist Park

Me gustó This site is excellent in a quiet location great views of the carreg cerren Castle from are tent pitch and only a 30minute walk from the site or a 5 minute drive has its own car park and tea room and gift shop Hill is a bit steep up to the castle but amazing views from the top. Owner of the campsite John very friendly and knowledgeable and has bait available to buy if you forget anything. Great for fishing and well stocked lake with tench,rud, carp etc fisherman's paradise. Nearest shopping town is llanelli and has a wide range of shops and the nearest home Bargains is a 9.8 miles away and has all your camping essentials
