Me gustó The staff were friendly and helpful, the site is easy to find. Toilets were easy to find and relatively clean.

No me gustó Didn’t know that there was a fun fair on for majority of the summer months.

Me gustó The area was well looked after, the outside Pool was one of the highlights of the holiday for us, the other was playing Bingo (which is cash only) in the Granary. Staff were very helpful and pleasant Food and drink was nice but expensive for what it is (one round of two alcoholic drinks and two J2Os over £18.00) Overall entertainment was good it’s more aimed at pre-teens but lots of different activities throughout the day, some free of charge like the Pool party and other activities were chargeable such as axe throwing £12.00 per person.

No me gustó The tent was on a slight slope like many others across the site. The largest negative for us with two teenagers was the WiFi. Although it states that it has free WiFi, depending on your location it’s sporadic at the best of times, unable to stream, unable to watch social media, unable to game. In certain parts of the site the phone signal was poor. Both cellar and internet calling.

Me gustó This is one of the campsites I had linked as a favourite amongst others in this area and what drew me to this one is the brilliant price for the time of year. My children are 12 & 10 and they enjoyed staying here. Traveling from Yorkshire only a cheeky 2.5hour drive until we reached our desitination. Electrical hook up was easy and even thought the weather was a little bit cold we still had fun visiting various locations and coming back to the campsite knowing that there was a clean toilet/ shower block and if we needed anything the staff where there on hand! The staff are very friendly and are willing to help you in any situtation.

Me gustó Everything about this campsite! The pitch was level and easy accessible, the toilet and shower facilities where clean. With the protocols within Scotland I was reminded of which rules I had to follow for example wearing my face mask in the toilet block. The little shop is a god send especially if you run out of milk or you fancy a bacon buttie they have near enough everything that you need in there and it’s reasonably priced. The kids loved the play park and meeting new friends as this seems to be a popular destination for young children. I will be booking again!

Me gustó This was our first visit to this campsite and it didn't disappoint! Me and my children based our decision to visit here on the photographs that were attached to the website and they didn't disappoint once we were there, we could see the stunning views. We where able to pitch our tent anywhere on the grass, we choose the quiet field near the park. Definitely gets your heart pumping walking up the slight incline to get to the toilet block. The beach was within walking distance which is good with two children (9 & 7) the shop near by had the essential's although sometimes their deliveries were in the afternoon rather than the morning. The security staff that are on hand around the campsite was a lovely touch, made it feel more secure and they are the ones that closed the park at 9pm and send them back to their tents. Overall the experience was brilliant well worth the 5 hour drive to get there and we will definitely be looking to come back in the future!!!

No me gustó The toilets were a little hit and miss, some days they closed the toilets before the time stated for cleaning, sometimes they where a little dirty straight after they had cleaned them as the floor was still wet. But overall the I would give the toilets 3/5.
