Me gustó Nice wild site, gorgeous views. A couple of compostable toilets and a tap for water. For peace and quiet this site is an absolute must.

Me gustó Great location and very unique experience to be able to stay within a wildlife park. Like that you can park by your tent. We were staying when storm floris hit but the site is quite sheltered by lots of surrounding trees and other than a few big gusts of wind and a minor tear in out tent it was fine. Staff in the park are friendly and helpful. The tea room is nice and reasonably priced and has free WiFi. We stayed for 5 nights and found it was a good base to visit the surrounding area.

No me gustó Can be quite noisy with children and dogs but that's the visitors fault and no reflection on the site owners, although maybe someone could do a walk round every evening just to keep an eye on excess noise.

Me gustó Beautiful site with amazing views. Alan the owner was very friendly and helpful. The shower block was amazing. Water was lovely and hot and the whole block was very clean and warm. Best I've ever been in honestly. Sadly we had to cut our trip short and only stayed 1 night but would definitely recommend it and plan to revisit.

Me gustó Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teen boys. This was our 2nd visit to Knowler farm after being called home unexpectedly last year after just one night. This year we stayed for a full 5 nights. Intially booked 4 nights but was able to get away a day early so called up and were happily accommodated for the extra night. We stayed in the Wild camping field. Plenty of room, Nice quiet site, love the fact that no music/tv etc is allowed and also love that there are no dogs in high season. The compost loo's are fantastic, although is feels very strange to leave without flushing LOL and the horse box showers are awesome, so inventive and very well made. Brilliant idea. Loved the fact that Wayne pops round each day to make sure everything is ok and see if there is anything you want, the personal touch is very much appreciated. A great base to explore from, we had several trips into Canterbury, as well as Hythe, Folkestone, Whitstable. The park and ride service into Canterbury is superb, just £4 for parking all day, no matter how many people are in your vehicle, so much better than £2.10 per hour that some of the car parks were charging. Highly recommend using the Park and Ride. Really loved our stay at Knowler farm and will definitely return in the future.

No me gustó The only downside (for the teenagers anyway) was the lack of mobile signal/4g in the area. This is obviously not a Knowler farm issue, we found it to be typical of the entire area.

Del administrador: Thank you that is such a great review, full of information that is very helpful to other campers. We are a bit dodgy for some mobile networks but EE works well here and some areas around the farm for no aparent reason can get signal for other networks too. It's quite amusing seeing people half way up trees in far flung parts of the fields but I imagine the boys were tearing their hair out :( Very good shout about the Park and Ride I often use it myself. Me gustó Nice clean site. Love that you are permitted multiple tents per pitch, particularly during covid, meant that my friends and I could each have our own tent and stay socially distant while still enjoying a few days break. Toilets/Showers nice and clean, anti-bac cleaner in each cubicle and hand sanitizer stations outside. Water was lovely and hot for my shower. Love that campfires are allowed. Good base to explore the local area from. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends

No me gustó No one to patrol and police excessive noise/music/partying/engines revving until 4.30 a.m. Would have expected there to be some limit on noise levels after a certain time as its a family site.

Me gustó Fabulous site. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Perfect base to explore from and lots of lovely walks locally. Everything is kept lovely and clean and tidy, and there are plenty of sanitation stations. sadly we were called home early and had to cut our stay short, but we definitely plan to return
