No me gustó The owners of this place appear to have given up. The pool has not been functioning for a long time by the air of abandonment and the green water, it’s padlocked. The bar when we arrived ( by the entrance was blaring really load music and the area around it reeks of cats. What was not evident until we hooked up was the site is an adjacent to a firing range, so expect a lot of noise. However the most distressing thing is the surfaces are dangerous, returning on our first day from a walk , I took a heavy serious fall, bruising to hip, shoulder and deep gravel grazing to one hand and knees. The cause of this is rusted looping, low level wires arising from concrete in the entrance. ( it would take half an hour tops with angle grinder to fix!) In the bright but dappled light it looks exactly like twigs! My toe caught and I went down, my husband behind me stopped thank goodness! After picking g myself up and badly shaken but cross I went to find the manager. There was a kind women on the desk who despite language limitations on my half came to look at the hazard, as the manager was just then walking past, she explained what had happened and he literally walked off clearly totally unbothered. The woman said sorry, look embarrassed and shrugged. We had paid up front for 4 nights we left after two with bruises that are taking some time to go! We discovered a motorhome aire approx half a mile away that could’ve supplied everything we needed on a cleaner, more efficiently run small site. I am guessing this site keeps ticking over on the minimum solely because of the walkers on the Camino…

Me gustó Spacious site overall. Showers good if small cubicles, were very clean whist we were there. Bar pleasant, food basic ie fries and…? Staff all efficient. Swimming pool busy, rather dated, but clean. Convenient with electric bikes for the city. Amazing dedicated cycle routes!!

Me gustó Super welcoming friendly, helpful staff. Good for 1 or 2 nights. Hot showers, good basic amenities. Very convenient for city centre. Very peaceful ( apart from reactive dogs) whilst we were there

Me gustó Super friendly reception. So convenient (with bikes) for the centre of Burgos. Pretty quiet at night whilst we were there. Reasonable quality food at the bar. Showers good with big cubicles.

No me gustó To be fair there was nothing that was a major issue for us except the pool looked rather uncared for with lots of leaves/ debris on top

Me gustó The play facilities for children and the clubhouse welcome

No me gustó Would have liked the pool open a little later. The pitches to be a little wider apart or to be spaced out abut more as it was not so busy.
