Me gustó Facilities are very high quality. Very clean. Site is large. Pitches around the edge of a field made it feel spacious. Able to park right next to tent. Although within a short distance of major roads we were NOT conscious of road noise. Village of Weston is about ten mins walk and two nice pubs same. Easy drive to Bicester for provisions and to the Pear Tree Park and Ride for Oxford. It’s a great location. Signage is now good - would be tricky to find behind the light industrial units otherwise. Proximity to these is NOT a problem by the way - you would not know they were there had you not driven past them on the way in. Didn’t use the WiFi but the IS a decent 4G signal.

No me gustó Only two wash up sinks seemed it might be a bottleneck but none of the campers seemed to be cooking so not a problem for us. Drinking water was from the standpipe set up for attachment to campervans and caravans. Would be nice to have a separate tap for tent campers.

Me gustó Spacious camping field with plenty of room for pitching and room to park a vehicle next to the tent. Our five man family tent was one of the smallest there and there's room to pitch a tent double that size with a separate gazebo for cooking. Fire pits at each pitch - the owner comes round each day to deliver, with kindling and firelighters if you need them (£8 for the wood, £4 for the firelighters and kindling). Facilities are spotlessly clean, the owners and staff seems to go in several times a day; in five days I never once found any mess in any of the facilities. Three decent showers - one in a family sized hut and two singles. Two decent sized washing up huts with two sinks each. Coffee truck appeared each morning serving espresso from the back of a van. Good location if you want to go to the coast or up into the High Weald. Good pub, The Six Bells, in Chiddingly is family friendly and with great food - only a mile from the site.

No me gustó We had no complaints at all and a lovely stay for four nights. Only four toilets - two water closets and two compost. With all 27 pitches occupied I could see this being a bit too limited but, to be fair, we didn't experience a problem and we stayed in the middle of the school summer holidays over a weekend. The two WCs are a bit public with large gaps above and below the stalls. There are only two (double) sinks for washing / teeth cleaning one is right outside the WCs and the other by the compost toilets - which had no cold tap. The single showers didn't offer a great deal of privacy in that you can see from outside if they are occupied. There was no mobile signal for us anywhere on the site (we're on O2) - good if you want to get away from it all but might be an issue for some.

Me gustó Great location. Lovely big field for camping. It’s a bit undulating so you have to pitch carefully but it makes for a more interesting and private experience. New lavatories and showers - spotlessly clean. The WCs are private unisex spaces, which makes things a lot easier with the children. The showers are in a static caravan and quite civilised. Met on arrival by Magnus - friendly proprietor. You can’t park next to the pitch but there are wheelbarrows provided if you have heavy stuff to carry to the pitch. Campfires allowed in the provided fire pits. Bags of logs available at small cost. About 20 families when we arrived and not at all crowded. We could get a decent 4G signal so didn’t need WiFi. Best campsite I’ve pitched on. Would definitely visit again.
