Me gustó This place is heaven on earth. Dawn has everything spot on, the facilities are well kept & spotless, there is so much space even when fully booked, a beautiful site in the most stunning spot. To look around and see nothing but fields, tress, the sea and the ponies is really quite mesmerising. I feel so lucky to have found this idyllic, healing place and so grateful to Dawn's hard work & effort to share it with us.

Me gustó Didn't end up staying for this booking but have stayed at this campsite since and it was lovely. Very clean facilities and lots of space. Lovely views over minehad and great walk up onto north hill direct from the site

Me gustó Another amazing stay at the most beautiful site. Everything is 100% perfect. The setting, the views and the facilities. Dawn makes you feel so welcome & I'm so grateful that she chose to share this heavenly spot.

Me gustó Love this site so so much I keep coming back, the facilities are just what you need, clean and well maintained, loads of space even when fully booked, this place is very healing for the soul. As a solo female camper I feel totally safe. Dawn, the host, comes by to check on everyone a couple of times a day and is always at the end of a message if anything needs addressing. I cannot fault a single thing. The most beautiful setting, nothing but wildlife, stunning views and calm. I could spend every camping trip here. Dawn has got things spot on and I'm so grateful to have found this spot in paradise. Can't wait to return.

Me gustó What an absolute gem of a place, stunning location,gorgeous views and Dawn the host (and her dogs Rosie & Mia) were so friendly and welcoming. This has become our new favourite place to camp, can't fault a single thing, will be back as often as we can!

Me gustó Absolutely loved this site, we stayed on the enclosed pitch. Amazing space, loved the outdoor seating area and having the hut with your own toilet/shower/cooking facilities was such a luxury. The owners were so friendly and popped by regularly to check everything was OK. Couldn't fault this site

Me gustó Had an amazing week at shortlands farm, beautiful setting with sea views, lovely walks to the coast path direct from site. The biggest and best pitch we have ever had with loads of space in between, we were in the field with ehu, could've easily stayed another week or longer and the camping canines loved it too! Would highly recommend.

No me gustó It was very quiet on site during our week, my only concern would be during busier weeks the fact that there are only 3 toilets could cause issues, with potentially around 30 pitches. Would def bring a porta-loo next time.

Me gustó Just returned home from a fabulous week at chalk meadow. Clean toilets, hot power showers and spacious pitches, really cant fault this site for its amenities and location. Jim, the owner, is a top bloke, so friendly and helpful, pops around regularly to make sure all is OK, along with his lively spaniel Ollie. It really felt like we were staying there as friends rather than a customer. We will definitely be booking to come again next year. While you're here check out the girls running their pop up cafe from the sheperds hut on Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings, they were doing teas, latter's, breakfast sandwiches and pancakes, well worth a visit. Can't wait to return next year, Matt, Jo & Stanley xx
