Me gustó Great location for beach and mountain breaks, and within easy reach of the wider North Wales area. Camping field is large with decent-sized pitches, and has portaloos and a potwash for convenience; shower/loo block and potwash/laundry also at entrance.
No me gustó No shop on site so you either need to have everything you need, or be prepared to pick up off site (heads-up for solo campers travelling with a pet as you'll need to think about where/when to go, especially in hot weather) but shops are within about a ten-minute drive.

Me gustó Absolutely everything is to like about this stolen piece of Paradise. I was greeted with a "welcome to Paradise" ahead of my two night stay, travelling as a solo female, with dog, needing ehu to mitigate the impact of the heat on my floofball (I had planned a basics site I've been itching to visit and changed my mind with the temperatures - and I have zero regrets). The owners, John and Rachel are lovely and SO excited about wanting and being able to share their space with as many people as possible. Even with school holidays yet to begin, the site was busy but not too busy. Tenters, motorhomers and caravanners - including tourers arriving and long-term pitched tourers - are mixed in, with the exception being The Dingles, a cute pair of idyllic non-electric havens behind reception overlooking the little river that babbles through the site, the event field (DoE students were there when I arrived but you'd not know it) and The Plateau beyond. To the other side of the reception is the open part of the site - all ehu - and The Island, which has the much-needed shelter for my floofball, Fozzie Bear, and the sun to power those essential evening ambient lighting... Pub up a short path, shop over the road and another pub a short distance away. Toilets, showers, wash-up, chemical loo disposal, rubbish disposal, play area for kids with energy to burn off, a little dog walk area off The Dingles, but a public footpath off and behind the site, and nature in abundance - baby trout in the river, owls overhead calling to each other and the treat of a buzzard emerging from his early morning roost and swooping just feet away during an early walk - and all of this adds up to The Green being my 'return to' space. Two hours in on my first night and I was already recommending it - and deservedly so. Fozzie and I will be back!
No me gustó Having to leave, but work and non-camping life was yelling at me to come back 😪

Me gustó Arrived in wind to this lovely little site which has everything you'd need either on site - showers, loos, space, washing up facilities - and realised I'd discovered a little gem of a site. Located on a family farm, which means Louise (or other staff) are around if/when you need them. Great site for solo, couples, family campers and range of units there when I visited so very accessible. Level pitches everywhere.
No me gustó Nothing to dislike - although putting the tent up in wind was interesting!
