Me gustó Lovely big pitch facing the beautiful carp lake, great walks direct from site up Caer Caradoc or into Church Stretton with its lovely shops, inns and a Thai restaurant which is superb. Such a peaceful site, owner really helpful - will definitely return

Me gustó Wonderful location right on the common, exceptionally peaceful with great views of the hills. Huge pitch with water and electricity Lovely walk over the common to Plume of Feathers pub which does a great Sunday roast, dog friendly and good value. We will definitely return

Me gustó The country park has great dog walks from your door around this huge site, pretty lakes, open fields and paths - really convenient for us as dog owners. The individual loos/showers were really clean and warm. The Chequers pub/restaurant is a short walk maybe 10 mins via footpath and serves fantastic food including pheasant, duck, and other fine dining options whilst retaining a lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere. Very dog friendly (they do dog meals!) and the staff are fabulous. The site us very handy for visiting Lincoln

No me gustó Light sleepers may struggle with the heavy freight trains that pass very close to the pitches through the night. We woke several times the first night thinking something was crashing into our motorhome which was quite a shock but we got used to it over the next few nights. We had breakfast the first morning in the on site cafe/restaurant and the selection was great- really well prepared. Unfortunately on another occasion breakfast was limited to either a sausage or a bacon sandwich and the wait time was unacceptably long. On the Saturday evening the menu was just pizza, we waited about 40 mins for ours. Another evening, a slightly bigger choice but poor quality and again a huge wait. It seemed there were very few staff with only limited experience so not really their fault. The management team need to look at the quality of what they offer, it could be so much better My husband did comment that the elsan point was quite gross, the worst he had seen

Me gustó The onsite restaurant is lovely - dog friendly, good food reasonably priced and the staff were great. The loos were exceptionally clean and warm. Good field to walk the dogs. We don’t fish but the lakes looked beautiful. The site was quiet and the reception was warm and friendly

No me gustó the pitches and grass strips are narrow and so we felt we didn’t have much privacy from our very close neighbours. Not an issue for our one night stay in chilly weather, but would have felt too cramped to sit out with awning up during a longer summer break

Me gustó Fantastic site with direct access to Colemere. Great for the dogs. Beautifully landscaped with ponds and trees adding to the privacy of our pitch and abundant wildlife. Very clean facilities. Welcoming friendly hosts provided lots of local info Quiet and peaceful site

Me gustó Lovely small peaceful site, really clean facilities, huge space for our motorhome with well planted trees and hedges that gave privacy and lots of grass to sit out on and catch the evening sun Beautiful woodland adjacent to our pitch to exercise the dogs Great walks direct from site along well marked footpaths Friendly welcoming owner We will definitely return

Me gustó Great little site, very nice pitches with apple trees scattered around, peaceful with great views! Lovely pub beer garden for drinks and food, great selection of cakes and essentials in the on site shop. We had a full breakfast which was really tasty and made to order (bacon especially superb!!) before we set off for home Whilst there isn’t a specific dog walking area on site dogs are welcome everywhere and there are lots of local walks for a stroll We had a day out in Great Malvern (booked an Uber Pet for £9 each way) which is stunning, lots of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and historic buildings, and walked up the hills from town for a superb view and hidden cafe at St Anne’s Well Facilities on site good, we didn’t use shower as have one in motorhome so can’t comment on them, pitches pretty level. We heard no noise from the pub beer garden even though it was very busy as the weather was lovely Really friendly helpful team 😊

Me gustó Fantastic site! Really friendly welcome on arrival, everything explained and details given of all the local walks. The motorhome pitches are superb, each with separating hedge for privacy, hanging baskets and lovely lawned area. Tv & phone signal was excellent The facilities are immaculate - so clean, easily the best we have come across But by far what blew us away as dog owners was the truly amazing huge meadow area on site, with wild flower areas, woodland walk and beautiful lake/pond with fountain - all immaculately maintained where our dogs were able to run and sniff about off lead. This then leads to the river walk into the town which is about 30 mins - an easy walk passing the marina This site is a real gem, peaceful, top class The team here really do go over and above. Thank you so much, we will be back soon!

Me gustó Lovely walk from site along the canal and through fields and woodland Nice cafe/restaurant on site Easily got an Uber into nearby Nantwich which is a beautiful old market town

No me gustó We were put on pitch 9 which is right by access road and people cut across on way back from cafe so no real privacy other pitches were lovely We personally don’t like unisex shower/loos on a large site. They were very busy, people queueing, and felt a bit like festival facilities. Quickly ran out of loo paper and got muddy wet floors

Me gustó Beautiful site with only a few pitches meant we had lots of privacy and a lot of space. So peaceful with really well maintained lawns with fruit trees and a wild area. The really large dog walk in the next field has been thoughtfully laid out, a real bonus for us having 2 dogs. The loos and shower were clean and accessible. Excellent WiFi! We will definitely return

Me gustó Fantastic site - really friendly greeting on arrival with lots of useful info. Pitches large and well spaced, lovely river walk where our dogs could paddle, great dog park complete with basket of tennis balls and toys. Lovely circular walk into Presteigne, loos clean and even had a dog wash. More attention to detail than we have come across at any other site. We will definitely be back 👍👍
