Me gustó We really enjoyed our stay at this campsite last year, so we decided to return again. It’s a lovely, quiet site with lots of space between pitches, which made it feel safe and gave our toddler plenty of room to play. There was a lovely meadow walk to enjoy, and the owners were wonderful. They were friendly, always asking how we were and taking the time to have a chat. The campsite was great for children, with tractors to watch, ducks and chickens to feed, a swing, and even a game of bowls to play. The facilities were simple but well kept, with one clean toilet available. The whole site was beautifully maintained, with lots of flowers and very well-kept gardens. A peaceful and welcoming place to stay.

Me gustó Incredible views across the ocean from the pitch. Also, lots of sheep and cows to see directly from the site which our daughter loved. There’s a few public footpaths you can walk along. The owner spoke to absolutely everyone on the site during the evening, and he is very friendly, as well as all of his dogs! He then went to clean the toilets which were spotless. We didn’t know what to expect when booking such a remote and cheap site, but we would absolutely return again! I also loved that he allocated our pitch before arrival so there was no stress about calling him when we arrived. I have added some photos of the facilities as some people wrote that it was a portaloo, which could of put us off staying, however it’s not a portaloo at all!

Me gustó Level pitches, with a walk to a reservoir from the site according to the family next to us. We didn’t have time to do this as we only stayed one night. There was no road noise when staying on this site. The washing up facilities were okay.

No me gustó On arrival, we had a large pile of dog poop on our pitch. We also found more dog poop around the site. Toilets were a bit weird. The one door has a hole all the way down, so if you’re sat on the toilet you can see out, so people would also be able to see in, but we didn’t see any owners during our stay to be able to mention any of this to them.

Me gustó The views from this site are incredible! You have mountains and the ocean to choose from! The drive is very easy, in such a spectacular part of Wales. We saw lots of people heading off for hikes from the site. If you’re at the bottom of the site, the pitches look flat. However, if there’s no pitches available and you need to be the other side, I would recommend taking some leveling chocks! The owner was super friendly and helpful!

No me gustó The toilets/shower were okay. Some people could potentially be bothered by the road noise. We stayed in a van and I woke up a few times in the night to road noise, so it could be louder for those in a tent. But it’s all worth it for the views!

Me gustó The toilet and shower facilities on this site are the best we have ever seen! Absolutely spotless! The farm animals were a huge hit with our young daughter, as well as the play area. They even have highland cows if you’re lucky enough to spot them! The farm shop doesn’t open for many hours a day but is fantastic. We were one of 2 vans staying on the pitches so it was lovely and quiet even on a sunny weekend in July. We would definitely return!

Me gustó A lovely, quiet, open site. The owner was very friendly and had a great honesty shop. There are ducks and chickens on site which our daughter loved. The facilities’s are clean and it is dog friendly. A perfect stay and we will be back next season.

Me gustó Great campsite! A very clean shower and toilet, a bin on site and lots of space to choose from. Scenic views to wake up to!
