Me gustó We like holmsley camp site toilets and showers are always very clean along with the site itself all the staff are very helpful and the shop is well stocked for your needs

Me gustó The welcome on arrival, the little shop inc the coffee machine! Clean shower and toilet area, the playpark. The location!

No me gustó Children left unattended in playpark using foul language- but thats on the parents not the campsite!

Me gustó Found a nice little spot for our little tent nestled away into the woods. Camped with my 2 children and we had a great time. Good little shop reasonably priced. Takeaway food available and nice pastries for the morning. Staff all very friendly. Ponies at the campsite entrance every day, we even had ponies visit on our last morning right beside the tent (small fence so couldn’t come in, but kids could go out and loved seeing them. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

No me gustó The first night it was a little noisy in the evening making it a little difficult for kids to sleep. The next morning someone was blasting music at 8 in the morning which woke my already tired kids up. Not the campsites fault but would just be nice if people were respectful of each other.

* Wife was not always the best, but that is a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with family.

This is a very large campsite , for your information.

No me gustó Staff were not helpful or welcoming on reception.
We had booked as a group, asked to be placed together and ended up apart. No assistance to help us do this prior or during our stay.
Toilet blocks struggled to cope with the amount of people .
6m rule was not adhered to, this made me feel nervous, given the amount of wild fires that have been happening recently.

Me gustó Pitches are fairly level, good toilet and shower blocks. Friendly and helpful staff.
Good little shop selling ice, ice cream, rolls, milk, alcohol and small amounts of other staples like butter, cheese etc, although a lot was aimed at children likes toys etc.

No me gustó Difficult to find a pitch as it’s first come first served, pitch where you want and as there is a restriction of 6m between units it’s difficult to find one that meets these requirements resulting in vehicles driving round and round.

How crammed in we were on Saturday night. - we did arrive on a hot Saturday afternoon and it was packed.

No me gustó We arrived on Friday after work and were there before 7pm. Already at the entrance you told us that we have to find a place by ourselves! Really? We go to different regions, pay half of what we paid here and they always show us our place. Here everyone takes as much space as they want and it is difficult to find anything!
We finished unpacking around 9pm so we wanted to sit, relax and make food as we had not eaten after work. We sat for quite a long time but talked quietly so as not to disturb anyone, despite this a lady came in and said she was disturbed by the light and the fact we were talking because she had small children! Does that mean we have to go to bed at the time when everyone else is putting the kids to bed? We used to have small children too but we didn't make any problems!
In the morning we couldn't sleep at least until 8 o'clock, we couldn't because from 6 o'clock the children were already very noisy, but we didn't make a problem out of it! We packed up and left for home at 10am (so we spent 13 hours). We wasted time and money unnecessarily but we preferred to leave rather than suffer!
We were here for the first and last time!
