The beautifully kept caravan park is just a short walk away from the bustling town of Totnes, for a wide choice of local pubs and restaurants. Totnes has been a significant port for many centuries and is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the banks of its busy river while taking in the historic atmosphere. Further up the hill you will reach a place called The Narrows, the oldest part of the town and a must-see sight for visitors to the area.
While staying at Steamer Quay Caravan Club Site, you are within easy reach of the historic Guildhall and museum. The picturesque village of Dartington is only a short stroll away, and with beautiful gardens, outdoor theatre and a cinema, Dartington Hall is well worth a visit. The Tuesday Pannier market is a convenient location for a spot of shopping - a popular event with locals and tourists alike, the stallholders dress in traditional Elizabethan costume and sell a vast range of fresh local produce. Boat trips to the pretty harbour town of Dartmouth leave from the dock just across the road from Steamer Quay. The caravan site promises a memorable break and the opportunity to absorb the traditional English life.

Leave the A38 onto either the A384 at Buckfastleigh or A385 at South Brent (both roads become A385 at Dartington). In Totnes cross the railway bridge and at the roundabout turn right (signposted Town Centre, Steamer Quay). In 300 yards (with Royal Seven Stars Hotel on right) turn left over the river bridge; turn right into Seymour Road. In 50 yards turn right into Steamer Quay Road. The site entrance is on the left.
