Meadow View Camping and Caravan Site

Me gustó Lovely spacious pitches, hosts were super friendly and accommodating, lots of toilets and showers.

No me gustó It didn’t feel like the toilets/ showers were cleaned on a regular basis. Resulting in a build up of dirt and debris. Women’s shower had really weak water pressure, so had to use the unisex shower.

Me gustó Everything! From the warmest of welcomes at arrival, to the spotlessly clean and well appointed toilet and shower blocks.

The site is a spacious layout with pitches all around the perimeter, that gives this a very open and uncluttered feel, your neighbours are well spaced apart which again lends itself to the feeling of space.

The interior of the field is huge, so plenty of space for a impromptu footy match, dogs to run about or the kids to fly a kite, without affecting anyone’s "chill out time"

The facilities are all there, showers, toilets, water and cleaning facilities, all immaculately kept and maintained.

The team onsite were friendly beyond a fault, Christine the owner and her partner met me on arrival and got me settled to a pitch and explained where everything was and how to reach out to them if i needed anything.
Assisting Christine was Bernie (apologies if that’s spelt wrong! ) and guys, I have to say thank you again, for the incredibly thoughtful gesture of the milk, my morning coffee was the best!! :D Thank you both so much!!

After a two hour ride, I was ready for an ice cold pint and a hearty meal, I spoke to Christine about options and being a Friday the Social club and the local pub would fit the bill perfectly.

I chose the pub, The Crown Inn, it was a very short walk from the campsite to the village, about 5 minutes and grabbed dinner and a drink...or two ;)

In terms of location the village of Trunch is a literal couple of miles from the coast and the A149 which is the coastal road that winds along the north Norfolk coast, through quaint villages with countless medieval churches and old windmills, and an hour or so will get you to Hunstanton. Going the opposite way
round will see you to Caister-on-Sea and Great Yarmouth.

All in all, the is a perfect little family campsite, with all the facilities you need, a ton of quiet space with amazing hosts and the perfect staging post for exploring the north Norfolk coastline.

Me gustó Catherine was such a great host, so helpful and as the site was quiet, we were able to select our pitch.
There was so much space for each pitch and all around. Lovely quiet site with beautiful countryside views.
All amenities were kept well stocked and clean. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

Me gustó Christine was very welcoming. The site is small, the pitches are huge and you're encouraged to space out. Field in front of pitches is huge and mown. Toilets were immaculate, the site pictures make them look utilitarian but they were nipping clean. A huge shout out to the showers, huge and endless hot water. We used the dustpan and brush to clean out grass from our tent as we'd forgotten ours. Stayed on pitch 4 which meant the morning sun flooded the area, wonderful. I swam each morning at Mundesley beach (12 minutes drive and free parking before 8) We ate a the Crown in Trunch one evening, which had good quality home cooking. We visited the social.club on both evenings ( dog friendly, huge beer garden, signed in by bar staff via a quick qr code). The staff and patrons were friendly, with one filling a dog bowl for us when we arrived in the beer garden. Come to Meadow View if you want peace and quiet, clean friendly site with a pub that serves food nearby and a friendly social club to boot, all 8-10 min walk away. Visited Cromer and Sheringham whilst we were there too. Christine communicates well and swiftly with booking requests.
